16 year old me used to joyride around in a similar Bronco back in the mid-90s, so I am going to give this a nostalgic nice-price.

Well the nice Kia sales-woman at the Cleveland Auto Show told me several times that the Kia Stinger GT I was fawning over was “basically a Mustang”......so yep.......this result seems legit to me.
I do agree with you there, the transmission in my s60 isn’t awful, but it doesn’t do it any favors. I’ve often thought how much more fun the car would be with a proper 6 speed manual bolted up to that 3.0 liter turbo.
Drive one, it’ll stop feeling wrong immediately. Out of the dozen or so cars I’ve owned in my life its probably my favorite engine.....or maybe it’s tied with the LS2 that’s in my GTO.....either way, lol
For the past year or so I’ve been scouring the internet for a certified 2015.5+ V60 r-design. I currently daily a 2012 s60 T6, and I’d love to upgrade to the wagon for several reasons. But I keep telling myself its not worth paying the extra coin for what is essentially the same car. But then I keep telling myself…
I get the novelty of swapping to Holden badges, but if it were my SS (and man, I do wish that red one in the pic was mine), I’d be happy with just swapping out the ugly gold Chevy emblems for the “flow-tie” ones.
When you take Wal-Mart’s price rollbacks waaaaaay too literally.....
The new XC60 is gorgeous, especially in that color. Looks a lot like the flamenco red metallic paint I have on my 2012 S60 sedan. As much as I like the idea of rolling around in a wagon, the new XC60 would be very hard to pass up if I suddenly came into a pile of money and was going to buy a new Volvo.
Ciao Ben,
After spending some time with the TourX wagon are you more excited or less excited to sample the Regal in its new (and maybe improved) GS flavor?
You might be thinking of the SAP (Sport Appearance Package), which gave the GTO a slightly different front fascia, rear diffuser (quad tailpipes), and taller rear spoiler. There were no performance improvements from the package that i’m aware of.....unless maybe you get some more down-force at 150mph with the bigger…
I don’t think I was putting anyone unfairly into a “not hetero-sexual” bundle to fit my narrative. Its well-established that Stamets and Culber were/are gay, even if they didn’t exactly get it on right there on screen. I didn’t insinuate that anyone else was or wasn’t.....through Saru could be a toss up, do we even…
This is a really great read! I was seriously feeling quite a bit of anxiety while you toured around that property and then stopped to eat and then stopped to take pictures......thinking to myself “NO NO NO, get back on the road NOW, while there is still time dammit!!”
Tyler is, Lorca was (or maybe still is, who knows, lol). But otherwise that leaves us with Sarek and then Saru (another maybe). Compared to Burnham, Georgiou, Tilly, L’Rell, Stamets, Dr Culber, Admiral Cornwell, the new doctor lady, and the bridge crew (Detmer, Airiam, and Owosekun). This leaves heterosexual men…
I lean more liberal in my politics/social views, but I tend to agree with CaptainMidnight here. I’ve enjoyed Discovery for the most part, however I think the blatant lack of heterosexual male casting on this show has gone a little overboard. Alex Kurtzman has admitted that this was totally deliberate, and that he is…
The Buick Encore......I see a TON of these on the roads around NE Ohio, and I believe every single one is being piloted by somebody currently collecting Social Security benefits. That thing is basically the Buick Century for the digital-age.
I enjoyed last night’s episode overall, but something that hit home for me while watching it is....and I mean this in the most PC way possible.....there is a total lack of hetero-sexual males on Discovery right now. This is especially true with the death (supposedly) of Captain Lorca. We’ve got Tyler, Sarek, and Saru…
Alot of these pictures make it seem as though Kristen is stalking this Volvo....or perhaps the Volvo is stalking Kristen.....or maybe its both (plot twist).
It will be very interesting to see how the forthcoming Buick Regal GS stacks up against the 2.0 liter turbo Accord. For an expected sticker price of just a few grand more than this loaded up Honda, the Regal GS offers all-wheel drive powered by GM’s sweet 3.6 liter V6.
Thinking back 20-25 years I remember these cars being EVERYWHERE on the roads of NE Ohio, and apparently for good reason. Unfortunately my blind (and misguided) loyalty to GM left anything from Honda/Acura off my radar....kind of regret it in hindsight, but oh well, you live and you learn
