well that's cute.
lol there was absolutely nothing wrong with you using the word sentiment. if you would have said "I can't get behind the sentiment of rooting for rivals just because they're part of my country" it would have made complete sense. In my opinion most people do not have a loose association between division,…
Using the word sentiment does not make "rooting for a rival in your division" = "to rooting for a rival from your own country". It doesn't mean "something like that", it's an attitude or opinion towards something - the something is what you conflated with conference/division rival rather than the last representative…
hmmm....it's funny, I feel like the article had nothing to do with rooting for a rival simply because they're in your conference/division. But then again, I did take the time to read it.
God bless your fearful little heart.
I know this is a "[Verb] it!" soundboard, but it would be nice if there was just one bonus button for "My Goodness!"

Yeah I was in Boston at the time and only 1 theater got it the summer it was released (the biggest indy theater). I wonder if indy theaters just didn't think a "sports" movie would sell well.
Chipotle has skated by for years on the fact that it isn't Taco Bell.
Some hype may have been there, but its distribution was pretty poor.
I was so disappointed when Sugar came and went with hardly a mention in most film circles. Maybe it's just because I'm into indies and baseball (and I loved Half Nelson), but this movie really deserved more exposure than it's ever got.
Umm they weren't exactly college athletes at that point. There's something like 120+ NCAA Division 1A teams, which probably include close to 10,000 players. There were 256 kids drafted last weekend.
That a female boss in and of itself violates our cultural expectations about how women are supposed to be, act, behave: you know, nurturing, maternal, warm.
Fair enough!
