there are plenty of situations where it's perfectly acceptable for a dog to be off a leash and in public. plenty of dogs can handle walking down the street and not chasing after a squirrel. I don't get the "my dog is not obedient so nobody should be able to walk their dogs without a leash" argument.

yeah I guess I don't watch enough non-bruins hockey (well, I watch college) to notice a huge difference, but to me, they're 3rd in goals scored, 2nd in goals against, it baffles me to think they would be "tough" to watch (unless of course it was your team playing against them).

They talk a lot about bruising, laborious, annoying hockey being what's necessary to get them "emotionally engaged" in most games. When the playoffs roll around, their insistence on such play is near-religious.
