Ha! My money was on someone tagging
I think knowing that The Rotarran = Martok's ship is better going forward, I'm not giving away any plots or character developments beyond "we see more of him and his crew."
Really, this entire episode is just a genetic trainwreck.
It's pretty messed-up. I had a friend who was raised fundie baptist and he actually had sunday school teachers who told him he didn't have to worry about doing well in school because the Rapture would happen any day now and he'd never get to go to college. He's now in his 30's.
AHHH. OK. I of course was thinking of DS9 episodes. The only one I can think of that was just "N" was "The Nagus." Not the greatest ep, but certainly better than, say, "The Muse."
well I'm stumped — which N episode is that? All episodes that I wish never happened started with M, not N.
LOL, I know, I've read those posts.
Is that a Boom Mic? YES IT IS! YES IT IS!
yeah, that's such an effective shot. I love that they just cut to them returning victorious. The imagined battle that I had to invent in my brain is a zillion times more amazing than whatever they could have pulled off.
Zack, I disagree that Children of Time is about deciding whether or not to have children and then having to deal with all the kids you won't have. I think it's much closer to the pathos of people who have, on some level, regretted having children. They'll say things like "Don't get me wrong, I love my children but…."…
:) The Rotarran becomes a fixture as Martok's ship.
Most people don't even hear that line because they're laughing too hard from the trach shot that happened a split-second before. Brilliant.
Laugh…. hysterically?
Dude, Brunt would make a TERRIBLE husband.
Hysteria started as a physical malady — the uterus was thought to have "broken free" from the abdomen and would travel about the body having wacky adventures and causing paralysis/catatonia/tremors.
straw into latinum.
I thought there was a sort of HANK AND DEAN VENTURE ARE CYLONS memories upload thing they alluded to with the Vorta… maybe I'm mis-remembering.
Yeah — throw a SPOILER on that… Zack's never seen this before.
well this is the exact same thing they did with The Darkness and the Light with Lupaza and Ferel—bring back characters we saw briefly in one episode, imbue them with way more emotional resonance than would be suggested considering Kira has not had any contact with them since, and then kill them off for a cheap way to…
