I kind of like how fatalistic the ending is. The game builds up how unstoppable the Reapers are, and then... Yep, they're unstoppable.

“Beatles songs all tended to be three, maybe three and a half minutes, but as we were working on, all these great ideas kept coming. So finally Giles said, ‘Well, let’s just make the song eleven minutes long.’ But there were still all these great ideas, so it was like, ‘What about three songs that are eleven minutes…
Or the opening scene where she failed to protect them from the Boogeyman? It all comes together.
I liked the second season more than the first, but I can’t forgive the Christmas episode. Not once in history has a Catholic family gathered for Christmas in Chicago with fewer than 4 children under the age of 10.
It’s a perfectly fine coda to the Anthology sessions, which were a perfectly fine coda to the Beatles’ actual music.
It depends on what you want. I appreciate that the Ring delivered exposition through a whole investigation subplot, where Ringu has a psychic character explain it. I actually like the original (?) line about cocaine more because GOB sees the kids, takes a moment (presumably to decide what to say), and still says the least appropriate thing.
Years ago I was on a long drive with my older brother, who had never listened to “Plastic Ono Band.” About halfway through Working Class Hero, he was like, “It’s not exactly Twist and Shout, is it?”
Anytime someone says “John Lennon would’ve liked it,” I’m like, “Oh, John Lennon would’ve hated it.”
I hope they passed the audition.
That sounds like the worst Blue Oyster Cult song ever. Anyway, what would he say? “I was rich, Ireland didn’t have the political clout to come after an American celebrity, and nobody in the US cared because it happened overseas?” Maybe if you could throw stuff at him for the remaining 104 minutes.
