I read this title as "Slayed a Kitten with metal." I was horrified until I actually double checked that headline.

Yah. I stayed with the show for that monologue. Even with the problematic "we acted like men" and the exclusionary view of 1950s and 1960s America, it still properly lambasted so much of what is wrong with the national conversation, and managed to correctly lambast liberals and conservatives.

One of this season's main plotlines has been Sorkin's perceived tension between rigorous, old-school reportage—an institutional, dignified fantasy of Journalism—
