One thing that seems to be getting lost in the mix here: EDF is (at least in part) a governmental institution, owned by France and operating in the UK too.
Incidents like this happen far more than people know about. It’s been happening more and more in recent years and yet the original narratives get far more media coverage versus the factual narrative which actually happened.
In my Ph.D. program in chemistry, they gave a “diversity fellowship” (sponsored by a large chemical company) to the straightest whitest guy in the department. He was brilliant and deserved recognition - but when the department (and sponsoring company) choose to give a member of an advantaged group a diversity…
Laverne Cox?
Girls outperform Boys significantly at school in the UK. Girls are more likely to go to university. Women earn more than men in their 20's and 30's currently. Boys are the group more likely to be failed by the education system. Feminism has done a good job, but for true equality we have to overcome gender divisions…
And if a little girl had won a boys competition we would be cheering for her
Clover needs to start retracting her stories when they come up bogus, you can’t advocate remedies for discrimination when you don’t have any credibility.

I watched the first episode. I kind of liked it.
If I believed in the devil I might take offense at portraying him as a sympathetic character. It would be like making a picture about how Hitler is terribly misunderstood. The best you can do is show people everything and let them decide.
But, the devil isn’t real so it’s…
They’ve just outed themselves as really, really, really wanting to fuck Satan. Like, wanting it so badly that this show must be destroyed.
Eh, I love procedurals and find them endlessly entertaining, so I actually don’t find it boring at all. And I really like how open Lucifer is about his identity, because I do find the secret identity thing to be really exhausting.
I figured I’d give it one episode just to say I watched it. I came back for a second because it intrigued me. Now, I look forward to it each week. It isn’t a bad little show—they are playing around with the whole “How bad is the devil, really?” thing and I like it.
Yeah, the show is boring and rehashes tropes that we have seen far too often (supercompetent, sincere, female cop needs male outsider who doesn't play by the rules to provide his perspective and solve cases while annoying her). But Tom Ellis is charming as...hell.
They’re just upset that he’s a man of wealth and taste. He’s been around for long, long years and he’s stolen many a man’s soul and faith. I mean, he was around when Jesus Christ had his moments of doubt and pain. Didn’t you know he made damn sure that Pilate washed his hands and sealed his fate.
Right but just to be clear. Lucifer is REALLY FUCKING SEXY in this show. Like. really really really sexy.
Lucifer is a classic case of so bad, it’s good. It’s hot trash, but it’s my hot trash.
If the devil really looks like that, sign me up for hell.
Don’t these 15 people with a facebook account have something better to do?
