If college women are so fearful of men that they can’t function on a co-ed campus, then higher education should be completely segregated by gender. We should return to all-male and all-female colleges and universities and just be done with it.

As usual: We want equality!!! But we want to be given special and preferential treatment at the same time! It’s important to follow the letter of Title IX law! But only if it gives women special advantages and makes them feel good! If it doesn’t, then we should ignore the law!

AFAIC, Bloom can strip down naked in front of cameras anytime. I have no problem with this. He’s scrumptious.

I think they have a little CFNM kink thing going on.

LOL speak for yourself, I’m gay and quite happy to see Bloom sans clothes.

Or maybe it’s “Why do you still have your trunks on? I thought I told you to take them off a few minutes ago.”

I think you’re on to something. My first thought when I saw the pics and realized that Bloom was the only one nude in them was that he’s into CFNM.

The Brits are nowhere near as prudish as are Americans.

Yes, you can put sunscreen on male genitals (nude beach lover here).

Maybe Bloom is into CFNM? I’d say he’s a naturist, but he was the only one nude in the pics I saw. Usually if it’s a gathering of naturists everyone, or almost everyone will be nude. So, I’m going with CFNM.

What? Tons of live coverage of women’s sports means that the network is sexist because it’s all being shown to appeal to gay men? Are you serious? Do you even think through your comments before clicking “publish”?

During women’s volleyball: “The USA gets booed in every country they play in except for the USA.”

It’s one thing to say her coach/husband was a major factor in her comeback, or that his training helped her break the record.

How was that homophobic? That’s the very definition of pegging.

You’ve made this point in other comments on different comment threads for this post. While I generally agree with much of what you’ve said, I find it odd and a little funny that you seem so worried about NBC attracting male viewership to the Olympics coverage. Why a feminist woman on Jezebel would care whether or not

ESPN doesn’t have schmaltz and fluff? Since when?

But...but...football is so violent, so aggressive, such a textbook case of toxic hypermasculinity! As a feminist woman, how could you?! ;-)

Oh barf. I’m a man and I watch and enjoy many of the women’s Olympic events, and I don’t have the slightest “pervy” sexual attraction to the female athletes. My other gay friends are the same. I have lesbian friends who love watching men’s sports and have no sexual interest in the male athletes. Imagine that! Also, if

There are at least six NBC network channels showing Olympic events (NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, USA, Bravo, and NBC Sports), and so far they’ve aired a number of archery events, men’s and women’s, and not only ones involving American teams. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

You keep insisting that men are more analytical and women are more emotional—a specifically sexist notion that is trotted out for many reasons....men tend to express their emotions less successfully, not count anger as an emotion, and decide that their emotions count as logic.
