textaclysm?
textaclysm?
Yep. Cried my little eyes out during that song, for reals.
Ok, here's why I disagree. This is long but whatevs.
I mean, yeah, that's what I thought
How is a white person not wanting to date outside their race not racism?
I…disagree? I feel like we went over this last week
That's…the best pun…ever…*head explodes*
Yeah I also didn't like the book at all. If you want a magic fantasy story for adults, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell blows this out of the water.
no
I mean like, an entire pig spontaneously appearing out of the air by drawing in elements from the air and absorbing heat from the surroundings for energy is technically not a statistical impossibility. But like, it doesn't happen.
It's kinda sad/scary that all you need to turn a comments section into a shitshow is to basically just say the word "feminism"
But for some people it's a surprise, or they never thought about these disparities before. Which is a little cray, for sure, but real.
That's why it's super frightening that she gets so much hate. Like this is basic, basic stuff. As you say, Feminism 101. If people react badly to this, you wonder how regressive/ignorant their view on gender is…
Race is a social construct, but height isn't?
Aw dang sorry. Jokes are hard to tell on the internet sometimes, especially because some people actually use that argument :(. In retrospect, I er, liked your joke?
I mean I aint the arbiter of what is/isn't racist but that does seem a little sketchy, as there is a difference between things being phrased positively or negatively. Like it's one thing to say your particularly attracted to blue eyes, and another to say you don't ever find people with brown eyes attractive.
Oh come now. You've never found a man attractive, ever?
Ha yeah whatever works, I guess.
Well, any racial preference is by default shaped by cultural influences, given how race exists in our society and the fact that race is inherently a social construct and whatnot. Cuz like any race encompasses a group of people that has a huge amount of diversity (including genetic!) in it. So any racial "preference"…
Yeah, like how does that even work? How can you be not attracted to an entire group that represents like, literally a billion different people? Doesn't make any sense!
