its more of an anti cross up attack as its most effective when someone is trying to cross you up. that and its effective to continue combos with after you've landed a hit in the air. but is it as effective as a dragon punch? no, as it wasn't meant for that use.

You may not be aware that Seth is an incredibly risky character, and it shows during Poongko's matches vs Fuudo. One misread opportunity meant Fuudo punished for nearly half of seth's health. Poongko didn't win against Daigo because seth is cheap, he won because he outplayed him and read him like a book.

as a Saudi myself you guys have no idea how Hype I was with Latif's matches, and how he could have been the EVO champion. He played an amazing game against daigo and poongko, but sadly lost in the final.
