police chases over trivial shit should stop. “ooh look, his plate is expired, lets chase him!”, “ohh, a black guy in a fancy car”, “ooh, his taillight is out”, “ooh, he cali rolled that stop sign”...  send a ticket with the dashcam video and be done with it.

but this was a felony stop from the get go.  good reason to

In very few cases of anything does anyone ever “deserve” to die. Rather, certain activities have high likelihood of death as an outcome. Perform armed car-jackings and I believe your risk of early death naturally goes up.

Funny how “well if you commit a crime you deserve to die” doesn’t apply to good old boys with DWIs, drunk county sherifs, or poachers in rural MN.

I’m all for law & order and justice and all that, and I don’t have a big problem with cops either, but these chases just aren’t worth it. I mean absolute best-case scenario is they arrest the perps and get the stolen car back in one piece. But the worst-case scenario, which occurs way too often, is someone(s) gets

Also surely there would be a recount, I'd be shocked if there wasn't a provision for that.

know what’s interesting? do you recall when Larry hosted SNL and played Bernie Sanders in a Curb-themed sketch?

I know this is not only nitpicking but nitpicking over math (which is even worse) but if Larry had cast his vote for Mayhew, the result would not have been a victory for Mayhew but a tie. (Of course, the guy in the line who supported the opposing candidate who Larry got to drop out could’ve reneged on his promise and

This was a lame episode. The “losing the election by one vote” plot was too stupid to be believable. And didn’t Larry convince people on his canvassing to vote for the guy? So he would have lost by a larger deficit anyway.

Early Curb was often cathartic to watch because Larry came off more relatable, at least to introverts like myself who find social mores and obligations irritating and ridiculous.

1) It’s specifically supposed to be about the pool fence rule, that would be obvious for anyone who’s been watching this season from the start.

Goldbergs should have been taken to a farm upstate at least 3 years ago.  It used to have some charms, but it is just terrible

Holy crap people still say snowflake???

The VF article was hard to finish because Garlin hangs himself with his answer to the second question - boom, opinion formed.

Is that Garlin or dialogue from Bojack Horseman? It’s hard to tell. Anyway props to Bojack Horseman for nailing this sort of defensive entitlement that goes “but how can I be the bad guy? I’ve been stomped on for years....”

Garlin’s idiocy in this interview is matched only by the unprofessionalism of the interviewer. Just say directly what you have on the guy and make him respond. Stop being vague and shy, JFC. The structure of this piece is deranged.

His most offensive behaviour in front of the camera is that he is simply not funny. I think he would have been funny in the 1950's ... but he isn’t now.

Well, the real life person he portrays died in 2000 something. This show notoriously neglects timelines and the network notoriously ousted another comedy legend.  Add that to, as he put it, a show in its likely final season and we’ll be seeing him released sooner than later.

Or, how about this: He’s been in HR at least once a year over the past 3 years to discuss his behavior. At that point, I’m not sure “standards have changed” is not much of an excuse. Also, I work with older people who have never had to go into HR. Because, the concept of professionalism is actually quite old and

I guess Susie will actually get the divorce she always wanted now...

we have to see it from the big picture, in terms of, that’s how I’m funny on camera
