gloriousness = glory, no?
gloriousness = glory, no?
To be fair, Eva has previously worked with Burton and HBC on Dark Shadows, so perhaps he cast her for those reasons, I think putting his choice of her down to not having HBC or a similarity to his ex is a bit reaching. But who knows, maybe you’re right!
I learnt about Florence at University, and she’s been one of my heroes ever since. When I first saw that they were doing a movie - and with Meryl - I screamed a little. Finally she gets the exposure (in this decade) that she deserves.
nah, she wasn’t. Just always trying to save everyone but herself.
Her book changed my life when I was a young girl. I’m really sad that she’s gone, but I’m happy she lived a full life.
i missed you
Tori, is that you?
she looks so sad
On my last flight, a passenger kicked the stewardess after he didn’t like that she told his wife that the overhead compartment was full and she couldn’t store her bag there. He kicked her.
So, I want to work in the field of helping women break free of their oppressors/rapists/abusive others. I live in France. I have no idea on where to start looking for anything in the field. Can anyone here help?
This story aside, BILD is a notorious tabloid, perhaps quoting from a more legitimate paper would add credibility. I’ve been following this story, it’s absolutely heartbreaking and is stirring intolerance in Germany, I can see it by all the awful posts my German friends are sharing on facebook.
I had the same thought but then remembered she’s always had a large chest, remember movies like Crazy Beautiful etc - she’s just super lucky!
RING! Or did they already get engaged and I just miss it all?
i think she’s the winner for me.
See, I think he should have gotten one for The Departed. I really, really loved him in that one.
Fair enough, that makes sense. I recommend you check out her wiki page, it’s basically a kickass story after the other. Think making men’s clubs opening to women (1985), too, and suing children department stores for separating girls and boys toys (1979) and suing the boy scouts of America to let girls in (1995).
Really? May I ask why? I adore this woman, I read her bio and never looked back. She has repeatedly kicked mysoginistic ass, but I have not heard anything bad (yet).
I really, really liked it. The Oldtown stuff is fascinating.
