Yeah…..no. Just because its a comedy or parody does not excuse it from ignoring the rules of story-telling, stories like Brooklyn 9-9 and Young Frankenstein prove this. The best type of parodies of good genre stories, are those that ARE good genre stories. This was not one of them, this series tried to deconstruct

WOW that was…a really disappointing ending to a story arc. Maybe if Kamail's actor were to appear more than ONCE this damn season it would be interesting-BUT NO-it felt out of no-where and stupid. And DID the actual stuff we saw with him in the flash back happen, or was that all in Dean's head? ALSO-you had BOTH Lucas

UGH-the son is such a turd. Can the damn parents SERIOUSLY have a talk about his bad behavior? Lizzie was good though. And on the one hand it was funny, on the other I felt REALLY bad for Zadac. One thing I DON'T find funny is constantly seeing Todd be everyone's bitch, its just mean and he just takes it. He's

Yeah, as bad as the other characters could be their personalities are MUCH more consistent than her's at times.

AH-but keep in mind, she was STU'S therapist before he realized she was a quack…which…might explain why he's been so awful at dealing with things in this show.

Good yes, but his lack of confidence and choice in therapists show's Stu has a looooooooooong way to go. Also with Claire…I don't know what bugs me about Claire, but there's something. Maybe its her uncaring attitude, that she feels better than everything else around her? Honestly I hope Olyphant eventually dumping

So basically Stewart is the Mom's favorite, while Dean is the dad's favorite…these are terrible people. Like, legit terrible people. The only character I like is Dean…in flashback, not current Dean, FLASHBACK Dean, where he's actually relatable as a character, rather than the enabled psychotic he and his family made.

HEAD-CANONS FIRING!

This is true, but I hope if they DO drop out, Dean gets some class mates who actually LOVE the law, straight up law geeks.

Agreed, also the law-students who annoy me even more. They are studying to be REAL lawyers, and find law boring. WHY DID YOU GO TO LAW SCHOOL THEN?!

DEAR LORD-this show had a REALLY slow start, hell I HATED it at first, but this episode is one of the best I've seen, in the same why I loved the Thanksgiving episode. Only real qualm and its one I've had from the start, the kids were terrible and every time I hear them speak I want them to die. Sorry…I know that

This is what happens when you let a bad highdea worm its way into reality.

A lot better than most eps I've seen, glad to see Jason Alexander again, his character is neat. I also like the furthering of WHY Dean quitting the Grinder was hard, he didn't just act, but actually wrote for the character as well. My liking of this part is similar to the Thanksgiving special where its shown Dean quit

Oh lord PLEASE don't let that be it, that would be just as bad as Maya Rudolph doing it!

There's always a point in diagnosing fictional characters, or as I like to call it "criticism". And I half-debate that, one could say that Stewart is the mutant in his family and ISN'T a delusional nutburger, but more likely the kids are emulating their uncle because despite Stew being a good lawyer, Dean is much

I KNOW, did she HYPNOTIZE Stew into forgetting it was illegal? Because as terrible as Jillian is I wouldn't put it past her.

The only way out of this, is if they straight up acknowledge it in show, have the parents realize that they are emulating their uncle TOO much(who is CLEARLY a manic depressive) and its messing with their development into stable adults. He's bad for them, and conversely they're bad for him since they enable his

Agreed, also its annoying how we have to wait a WHOLE arc for them to friggin' realize that Jillian is a malevolant influence on Dean's life, even though it should be obvious to EVERYONE! ALSO-I REALLY hope she stops at manipulating Dean emotionally and isn't responsible for the legal conspiracy like I theorize,

No no your on the right track, critiquing it for lawyering details is plenty valid, especially since its supposed to be based in a down to Earth world where "The Grinder" an over the top lawyer show exists. So far its ONLY done the paper-work thing, in a way similar to "Hot Fuzz", only in that it was original, and in

They should sell Blue Morpho masks, I know its a parody character but it looks SO cool!
