Poor trolling. Or sheer stupidity. Try better.
But the moment we, as United States citizens, start picking and choosing what grievances are valid or not....then we travel down that slippery slope of no return.
Pretty much this. There are basically no COVID restrictions anymore. What are they protesting, exactly?
I used the qualifier “if.” But if these guys are smuggling illegal weapons across state lines, or endangering anyone, law enforcement has some latitude to break it up.
Probably because they’re not being paid to gum up DC traffic for better wages. Pretty sure most of these guys would be doing actual work if right-wing provocateurs weren’t setting up go-fund-me accounts to make it worth their while.
Another way this protest is aiming at the wrong target:
Morons.
It’s nonsense. It’s noise. It’s posturing.
These are common people, the salt of the earth, the common clay of the New West, you know...
Why am I surprised you have no idea how strikes work?
This was exactly how I read it. Oh great, within the mileage of the first oil change I’ll be waiting for the thing to grenade. Perfect. Might as well set $30k on fire.
“According to the ad, of the 133,000 total kilometers this Audi has covered, 87,504 of those were via the car’s original motor. It apparently shit the bed at that point and was replaced with a donor unit that had only 47K on it at the time.”
A 2014 Jetta SportWagen TDI was my first brand-new car. Mine was also black, but with the Cornsilk Beige interior, DSG and panoramic sunroof. I miss that car. I actually found it more substantial-feeling than the 2015 Golf SportWagen TDI SEL that replaced it.
“Hydropneumatic suspension” is always the best answer for a comfortable ride. She wants something smaller, so how about a Citroen SM coupe? It’s brown! Manual! Comfortable! Probably not terrible on gas!
Thank you for keeping the tradition alive.
Since Torch is Audi 5000, I think someone needs to offer up a weirdo example. Might I tempt her with a car that revolutionized comfort? Something built to handle post war France’s ruined roads with ease? Yes, the answer is a Citroen DS. This one comes well under her price cap, leaving plenty of room to stock up on…
Small cars are at odds with everything else they want. I think they will be much happier with a longer wheelbase. No time for looking up pricing but this seems like a great job for a Lexus ES or if they want to be different a Buick.
But only one brand Stans will consider that a feature and defend it to the watery death.
This is art.
