My mother in law certainly has no rapist issues when taking her Zoloft.

That is questionable. Our "justice" system has always been more about punitive issues than about rehabilitation. There are many things that could be done, on a systematic level, that aren't, if we were actually concerned with rehabilitating people.
Barbie was named after the maker's daughter, and Ken named after the maker's son. I always considered them brother and sister after I found that out, and it makes this even more creepy/hysterical.
Yes, I was going to say the same thing. Educate the girls and the boys. Let's not do with this idea like we do with so many other ones, and put all the responsibility on the girls. If we only educate half of the partners in a (heteronormative) relationship, we're still doing them a disservice. Let's give them ALL…
Yes. I avoid engendered insults and prefer equal opportunity insults like asshole. Everyone has one, regardless of gender, etc....
Yeah. I'm totally down with this one. If they are as awesome as described, and as findable on eBay for a thrifter's price range (that would be me), this "Worth It" seems like a total win!
Right on! (Replying to promote and to make it long enough.)
If it doesn't, Rex, the description was written really badly.
Judgmental much, Dilly? You can be embarrassed all you like for the people that you are imagining that we are. You really have no idea about me at all. But have fun imagining whatever you need to so that you can feel superior.
LOL! Everything in their relationship is going to be, "Did you try turning off and then on again?" though. : D
No. Maybe you should reread Lemon v. Kurtzmann, dillydawg128? Mr. Par's Con Law is fine, thanks.
You're welcome. The thanks should really go to Mr. Par, as I asked him about it (he's a poli sci professor), and that is the only reason I know this. : )
I refuse to go into any Wal*Mart, including Sam's Club, and I don't have a pool, but I would seriously consider buying that. It makes me giggle too much.
Love Mary Renault's stuff!
I hated it, too! It was an hour and a half (I think that is how long it was) "beat up on the female main character for laughs" exercise. She ends the film in totally worse shape than at the beginning, but it is all ok because she has a boyfriend????? Puh-lease. Spare me.
Yes, it is called the Lemon Test from the Supreme Court case Lemon v. Kurtzmann. But since it is a Federal Supreme Court decision, trying to get this into the ND Constitution is entirely redundant, and a waste of tax payer funds.
What about flipping the ageism around? "Yes, I suppose multi-vitamins and medicine have gotten a lot better since you were young. It is really great that I've been able to take advantage of it." *cheery smile* Or "I grew up in an area that believed in medical science and multi-vitamins. Not all areas of the…
And these are the kind of men that give ammunition to the people who think that breastfeeding is gross, inappropriate and shouldn't be allowed. *facepalm*
For sure! Most bead shops offer great and affordable classes, too. I have a bunch of rocks I've polished, and now I just have to drill holes in them and make some stuff.
OK, that is weird! And with that major weakness it got published? That is some BS, right there. The publishers should have at least demanded a revise and resubmit. The concept is good, but the paper has no value if they didn't take all the obvious variables into account, such as the current economy. Frankly, even…
