Like Kimmel said in his monologue last night, “Leave this woman alone.”

What we didn’t know at the time is that he also had an origin story for the ages (spoiler alert); it eventually revealed the angry dragon was his sister, and the wise old sage, the Dungeon Master, their daddy.

She should have a lot of free time on her hands after the primary.

Terry Farrell?

And does it feature many of the concepts and characters as Across the Spider-Verse? It has that movie’s version of Madame Webb—Dakota Johnson’s character, which is supposed to make the elderly comics version relevant; it has Sweeney’s character, who in the comics becomes the second Madame Webb (and before that Arachne

Yeah, FC is definitely a step down from AFCW, but it has its moments, and it looks like they cast are having fun.

By guileless do you mean credulous? Because Carlson is pretty fucking far away from guileless.

If the cast (besides Wiig) are open to a sequel because they enjoyed working together, maybe they could get Wiig on board to pull a Fierce Creatures to Bridesmaids A Fish Called Wanda—put the band back together for a movie that isn’t a sequel.

Every time I see people with this same bullshit take, I think that you either didn’t see Poor Things or you don’t understand how basic math works.

If they’re gonna use it, save it for the Jaden Smiths and leave

Where do we all stand on nepo baby discourse these days?

Exactly. Lots of comments here dismissing Stewart as being naive and his solution as something those in power would never accept, as if he doesn’t realize the latter. His whole is point with the “no preconditions, no earned trust, no partners for peace” preamble is that those have all been smokescreens used to obscure

Now playing

I think high schoolers would’ve done a much better job—at least if it’s the theater department of a high school with even a modest budget. They do some pretty great stuff.

I've heard good things about that. I'll have to check it out!

Just wanted to commiserate with a fellow former CD obsessive. I spent I don’t know how much money buying all the Halos—including the international version of Further Down the Spiral that has the live version of “Hurt” (before he released it on And All That Could Have Been), “Self Destruction, Part Three”, and two
