I’m replying to you and recommending your post, so hopefully it doesn’t go anywhere.
I’m feeling less forgiving towards Kinja than I have in awhile after a comment that received 40+ stars over at Deadspin disappeared into thin air 15 minutes after I made it earlier this morning. But that’s petty bullshit; the Dodge ad—and MLK’s estate approving it—was way worse.
Ah. I liked (most of) The Last Jedi. Different strokes and all that.
It received 40+ stars within like 15 minutes of me making it (over on Magary’s latest post). Then it disappeared and I apparently was put back in the grays after being out of them for months. There was nothing NSFW about it except for the word “fuck” appearing in a gif from The Big Lebowski, and Magary’s own headline…
Anybody every have a comment just outright deleted from Kinja?
I’m a lifelong Pats fan, myself (going back to the ‘80s) and I actually agree with you 100%. It was one of the most entertaining Super Bowls I’ve seen and that’s all I was asking for. I just went for the fun Big Lebowski reference.
Hungover Pats fans everywhere respond to Magary shouting expletives:
After Uncanny Valley Tarkin and Leia we’re probably lucky Disney didn’t go that route from the start.
He missed some practice with the flu and arrived one day later in Minneapolis than the rest of the team:
BB did looked pissed all game—even more so than usual.
I’m ambivalent, as I have been about all things Star Wars since the prequels killed off my wild-eyed childhood abandon for the franchise. I can’t muster enough emotion either way. I just thought it was funny how many people last night didn’t seem to understand what a teaser trailer is and used the lack of…
Now all of the people who were bitching that the teaser trailer last night didn’t have enough Ehrenreich and that it was a sign that he’s wrong for the role can start bitching that this trailer has too much Ehrenreich and that he’s wrong for the role.
He followed that with an on-air F-bomb chaser:
He has the best pickup lines
Easy’s posts have always struck me as being made in good faith, going back to the old site, whereas recognitions reminds me of dr. unknown from those days in every way—a straight-up troll and griefer who needs to be banned.
Don’t forget Thomas Friedman. He, Dowd, and Brooks really are a trifecta of hacks.
It really is an unfortunate typo; it both makes the headline nonsensical and it steps on Nangle’s joke.
