Yara sticks around for at least one more episode. She, Ellaria, and Tyene will be Euron's gifts to Cersei. I could see Cersei killing Ellaria to avenge her daughter's death (or she could kill Tyene alone to make Ellaria suffer), but she doesn't have the same motivation to kill Yara, unless Euron persuades her to.

I think he's shaping up to be the Big Bad for this season the way that Ramsey was last season, almost like something out of a typical action movie. That's just my impression. I'll be happy to be proved wrong, actually, because I really don't want to see that same arc play out. With Zombie Mountain, One-Hand Jamie,

Tyrion calling out Ellaria for that genuinely surprised me, only because I hadn't put together that he would have heard about it.

They're alive. Yara, Tyene, and Ellyara are all in the King's Landing parade sequence in the trailer from last week.

Between their lackluster showing against Bronn and Jamie before and their 0 for 2 showing against Euron the New Big Bad tonight, the show version of the Sand Snakes never really lived up to their billing from the books. Shame.

Did you see the new AltShiftX vid released yesterday? He freezes the frame when Euron is standing in front of Cersie in front of the Iron Throne, and the back of Ellaria's head is definitely at the bottom of the frame, along with one of the Sand Snakes. Then in another sequence—during the parade in King's Landing

To be fair, I only edited my comments after he did. His were originally a lot more confrontational, and with no reason to be in my opinion. I was talking about the trailer, itself—I brought up the leaks, sure, but it was in service of my own speculation about the trailer and I prefaced my comment by saying I was

That's why I added spoiler tags. This is all apparently moot, btw: AltShiftX released a new video yesterday analyzing the trailer frame by frame and it turns out both Yara and Ellaria are visible in that sequence, so the trailer itself all but confirms what I was saying without any need to bring the leaks into it.

Oh, I love Kansas City, as does Jesus, apparently. We both dig good barbecue.

To help out my fellow AV Clubbers who have the good fortune not to live in Missouri as I do and thus might not have their bearings as to where Independence is, it's part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. The offshoot Independence Temple dominates the skyline and just down the road from it there's an historical

Actually, to be fair to her/him, I edited my original comments, but only after s/he edited her/his first. I felt like s/he was being needlessly confrontational about what, really, amounts to my fairly innocuous speculation based on leaks and the trailers combined, and I said as much.

*faints*

Gotcha. Have a great day!

I don't *know* that I'm right… I'm speculating, too, based on the leak that they're both captured coupled with the clips from the previews, where they're shown passionately kissing during what looks like the aforementioned big naval battle—itself revealed in the previews.

The big leaks are bearing out thus far, so my bet is that it's Yara and—more importantly for Cersei—Ellaria Sand both that he's leading in chains. There's a big naval battle coming, and the leaks have it that they're both captured.

…gets pissed off about them being on his property and/or breaking the hoop, which is going to happen increasingly often as these idiots try to slam their dunks with more and more force.

I've heard that she makes 300 grand a year. Not big bucks by Hollywood's standards, maybe, but pretty good for a "lady of the evening."

I'm old and out of touch enough that I didn't know it was him, which was good because the sense of unease we're meant to feel at Arya encountering Lannister soldiers would have been ruined otherwise.

Forrest Wickman over at Slate wrote a piece in which he counted the number of "fucks" in Wolf of Wall Street—which incidentally has something like twice the number of Pulp Fiction—and he talks about how it's hard to keep an accurate count:
