There aren’t enough stars.

It really is a testament to Triumph’s marketing that these bikes are still considered a “performance” option when lighter, more powerful options (hello Monster R) are offered by their competitors. I get that Monsters seem so gauche to your average Bonnie customer, but it’s still too wide a gulf for me to comprehend.

How did it stick the landing? The Def Leppard livery grants it special powers. Duh. /discussion

I didn’t get to see the whole race, so all I have to go off of is the 5 minute clip right before Marquez’s wreck, but I have a hard time pinning the blame on Rossi. Marquez was really harassing him and was quite a bit faster in a lot of sections. I’m far from absolving Rossi but I think if Marquez’s intention really

Thanks, if there’s one thing I pride myself on it’s grotesquely vivid imagery. Normally I try to take a more nuanced approach to stuff like this, but it really is hard to avoid at events like this.

I was all ready for a heaping helping of Veyron hate (and it’s amazingly poor proportions) but then you had to say hurtful, untrue things about the Giulia.

Whoa guys, let’s take a step back and look at the big picture. Lorenzo is still a smug little jerk with the personality of soggy bread. But for real, this is some serious sour grapes from Vale. Marquez was racing his balls off in Australia and if he really is in some secret agreement with Lorenzo then it makes zero

Believe me, I’m tired of hearing it too, but it has a certain amount of utility in situations like this. I’ve been to the 1 Show in Portland a few times and it only takes one trip to see that there’s a certain subset of people that are (charitably speaking) into bikes for the wrong reasons, whether it be fashion,

Speaking of hood rat shit, when are we stealing a Britten? That’s totally our Ocean’s 11.

Well said Sean, thanks for writing this. I’ve gotten in many an argument (and will probably ignite some new ones be reposting this on Fb) that what constitutes “safe” on a motorcycle takes precedent over manners. When you’re riding you have access to speed that can be hard to comprehend for anyone who has never been

Brb, just thinking about what the livery on my bike is going to be for the inevitable 3/4 size bike racing leagues that are sure to pop up everywhere in our glorious Grom flavored future.

Ok this is great and all, but when am I going to get a VR46 livery on my oboe? I’m sitting here in the bandstand looking like a pud.

Is it weird to want to dress up like a Stormtrooper and ride one of these around? Asking for a friend.

I can assure you the mini-truck is alive and well in northwest Indiana, AKA Chicago’s Jersey Shore. They are still a proud and defiant crowd, despite losing ranks to a rival tribe, the Brodozer.

Go fast, turn left. I’m curious as to how different the frame is compared to the FZ-07.

Also, Sean for Mayor.

Man, that takes some giant brass balls.

Bonnies are kind of a weird analog to Corvettes to me. The bike/car is great on its own merits but it’s when people start thinking they’re making some grand statement by choosing that option that I start to chafe. Can’t it just be a good bike? Do you have to act like the reincarnation of James Dean just because the

That’s what I would bet on. The fact that they used Belstaff to tease the new bike hints that they’re way more interested in separating trustafarians from their hard earned advertising agency salary than the bartenders buying their first bike.

I’m curious as to which direction they’re gonna go, upmarket and compete with the R nineT or downmarket to compete with the Scrambler. If they go upmarket it could open up space for them to offer a Royal Enfield-ish bike but I haven’t heard anything at all about a bike like that.
