After yesterday’s pick, I was wondering how much 90s hip hop you liked. I like how much J Pop and RnB seems to be influenced by American hip hop.

Man, they really just need to up the drop rate. They can buy themselves some good vibes from the players, just by simply upping the drop rate, or revamping the progression flow.

Pretty impressive sketch. They had the cadence down in the speech patterns of NPC voice actors, the movements were spot on... Looking forward to this going full circle and this being modded into a game.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: all of these reviews make me feel guilty for enjoying Anthem.

So, obviously, the game is firmly in a “Don’t buy it yet” state on my end... but instead of beating a dead horse or harping on the shit that’s growing memetic and stale, here’s a few reasons why I am a bit optimistic in the long term for the game:

Some people took issue with the game’s portrayal of cops and Spider-Man’s relationship to them. Kotaku’s Heather Alexandra critiqued the game’s black and white approach to law enforcement as predominantly unimpeachable good guys and criminals as violent anarchists, but she wasn’t alone.
