I tried to find the clip, too. It sort of contradicts what we saw tonight. Maybe it's from the season finale? But doesn't that seem odd they would show that so early? Maybe it was a deleted scene? We'll find out in a week.

I agree, but I think this episode proves the ambition outweighed the limitations. There just wasn't enough time to give each thread its due.

Good call.

I also survived this Chicago marathon. Good times and not as difficult as I thought. My buddy fell asleep right before The Force Awakens, though. Haha.

I'm honored.

Yeah, I figured it was a cover. neurozach says it's Bootsy Collins.

Great Odin's Raven, you're right!

Even if Evil Dead 2 is the only canon, the time jump still happened.>>>

bunk, that was a total mixup on my point. I actually wrote down the Xena backstory when I was looking up his name, and it's in my notes. No idea why I revisited Frazee. I blame it on traveling this week. Nevertheless, thanks for the tap on the shoulder!!

Her role just got 10 times more interesting and then they yanked her away!>>>

Wait, wait … there's an Evil Dead porn parody? Well, of course there is.

Piecar, your HAL thumbnail and your advice is both on-point.

Agreed!

Thanks!!

Given how much "Stranglehold" and "Cat Scratch Fever" rock, I'm willing to 100% ignore his asinine politics.

This is a good point. I think Ash is a good example of someone who survived the possession. He localized it entirely to his hand, obviously, but perhaps there's another way? Don't forget about Embeth Davidtz in Army of Darkness, either. She was possessed and came back at the end.

I don't disagree with you, but it's still context to consider and work with. Also, while it's not specifically referenced because of rights issues, I do believe Army of Darkness is something that's still inferred in this series.

No, you're not far off. I'm also from South Florida, had to tolerate four years of Tallahassee, and only twice ever visited Jacksonville. One of those two times was being kicked out of a bar for singing Neil Young by a bunch of Confederate jerks. Sorry, Ash!

It should be. There's no way he got that baby back to modern times.
