One of the episodes is about Favre "retiring" from the Packers and eventually leading up to the Vikings. Kinda a weird episode to make considering some of the other topics.

As someone who may, or may not work, with NFL Network I look forward to The Timeline. I like it when Films goes and do these kind of shows and does a twist using football as the main theme.

Two things:

I thought this was a pretty good pilot. Got all the origin bullshit out of the way and I think they made a strong, female lead already with Kara.

I know that this point I shouldn't expect much from this show. I'm not saying you're stupid for liking this cause that would be stupid on my part. But people have to stop rolling over for this show in terms of writing or storytelling. They get the badass/action/gore moments down but everything else about this is

I would definitely read the comics. It's at a place now where it is exciting because it is completely in a new setting than what we've witnessed for over a decade. Won't go any more spoilery than that.

The comic though is showcasing people clearly want to strive together and somehow build humanity again. I know it is unfair to compare the two because they are holy different from each other now. But Rick being a complete asshole with very little redeeming qualities doesn't make me want to root for him. Even at his

Shows have an endgame. Watch the pilots of Breaking Bad, Mad Men, or older shows like The Wire.

I am watching this episode and thinking to myself:

Like Dowd I don't understand why there needs to be an overarching story to this franchise. It makes everything needlessly complicated. Plus I have a good feeling the payoff with this coven of witches and demons will lead to a disappointing 'finale'.

Despite the review here and the overall rating on RT signifying a middle of a road experience (73% on the site FYI) I am very interested in this film. I am loving this new, indie era for Westerns. With a lack of a blockbuster aspect like before in Hollywood we are seeing new takes on a truly old genre. THE SALVATION

Leo of course says it is worth the hard work because he wants that Oscar god damn it.

Not really sure about the criticisms in regard to not talking about the movie. Why would a documentary need to call it out when it's about the case itself and not the media hoopla around it?

The last sentence in this article might be the greatest thing ever published in AV Club history.

As a Texans fan I normally would say, 'They are going to destroy a worthless team like the Jaguars'. But now? I don't know. They are just not playing well at all on ALL sides of the ball. The QB situation is a definite problem but they also have no running back, no defense, and the coach is probably coaching his way

This is one of those films that, if I were a kind, I would find amazing no matter the quality. Cause it's a cool concept for a kid even if you aren't aware of the source material. But then it would turn into a film where you grow up later and say 'Wait? I liked that?'

I remember a comic being published of Die Hard set in 1976 with John as a rookie cop. Don't recall much of it though cause it was kind of forgettable.

You need to find the Earth-2 version of her where she finds it sexy.

It's Columbus Day which means Jeremy didn't get the disc out in time for Brainscan to be effective. Which means the Trickster is gonna be mighty pissed he didn't account for the holiday.

My favorite part is Jay Leno on the commentary mistaking the writer of the episode as a woman. And then said writer immediately calls it out a split second Leno leaves the recording and the commentary shuts off.
