God, DVD's back in its initial inception were garbage. I still have some old copies of some films and it is amazing how bare bones they are. I am not even a 'behind the scenes' kind of guy but everything about DVD's from the late 90s are so generic it is painful.

Right? Like, it isn't noticeable until halfway through when they are trying to find the dude who caused this mess in the first place. Almost everything is in ruin or slight decay. Also, there are no authority figures which makes no sense.

I was watching the movies LOST RIVER & IT FOLLOWS again and it made me a bit uncomfortable. Mostly because I am a bit unnerved how filmmakers are so casual wth depicting Detroit as a hellhole. I mean it has gone through some terrible years lately but these films kinda make it seem like an apocalyptic landscape. IT

Well he probably doesn't know that. Maybe if agents from the series show him that he'll change his tune.

I mean, I can't fault his logic. He isn't wrong even if the movies are still entertaining.

This video made me laugh so much. It also proves that Colbert is going to be fine as a late night host. It's the same tone of humor he did on COLBERT REPORT but no politic gimmick involved.

This is amazing.

Shame he doesn't want to play the villain cause I'd think he would make a great Bond villain. He would be a complete opposite of Bond in terms of personality and fighting style.

Someone uploaded a work print of the original THIEF AND THE COBBLER on YouTube. Even in its unfinished form (a lot of storyboards accompany it) it is gorgeous to look at. Shame it could never be finished or in the very least have the studios be patient for it do be finished in its original form.

I saw JIRO DREAMS OF SUSHI on Netflix Saturday and quite enjoyed it. Jiro is an amazing man and his life as a sushi chef is remarkable. The lengths of being a perfectionist is crazy but it shows how it influences everyone he touches. Also, pretty rare to see a Japanese chef be in favor of regulating fishing. If you

I remember this episode making my Mom and Sister (constant viewing buddies for my younger self when this came out) turn on the show. They still enjoyed it but this moment at the cabin really irked them. It was too weird for them and overall things get more confusing with MiB once we get to the final season.

I mean they could just ignore it like Cake Boss did. One of their bakers was convicted as a child molester and they still show episodes where he is prominent.

Friday: To celebrate its 35th Anniversary I viewed my all time favorite film in THE SHINING. It's my all time favorite because every sequence is beautifully framed. There are horror movies that use tone and atmosphere to make you scared but Kubrick really stepped up his game to make you very aware of its supernatural

Went and saw MAD MAX yesterday. It was everything promised and more. Basically, it won me over by the time the dude with the flamethrower guitar showed himself. Seriously, one of the best action movies in a long time.

'And for good cause!'

Just end the show. Stop ruining your reputation and end it.

I'm more confused than anything else.

This looks atrocious.

This Duplex guy seems to be more suited for films made for an art show. I'm down for experimental or art films in general. He just strikes me as someone who makes film for art rather than profit which is a big different.

Caught the movie UNFRIENDED before I moved to LA this weekend. Ugh. You thought loading times in real life were bad, wait till you see them constantly on the big screen.
