Honestly, I like it when Neil Degrasse Tyson does his rant on why movies get the science wrong. But in hindsight it feels like a big fuck you to the people who make these things. The people of GRAVITY and INTERSTELLAR took a long time to get what you see on screen and they are immediately assaulted on why it isn't

This topic always fascinates me and I'm glad it is being covered today on the site. I first learned about it through, of all things, the movie VALHALLA RISING. While the movie was disappointing the idea of Norse people "discovering" North America in any capacity was intriguing. To now know the basic understandings of

Going back to the first episodes of this series it is amazing in a couple of ways:

Ignoring Channing Tatum for a second (which will be hard I know) I find the casting to this to be pure QT. Apart from Samuel L. Jackson none of these people could be considered a top billed actor anymore. Most of them are now great character actors or just solid secondary fiddles in movies or TV. But put them all

Solid title. Going to imagine (aka "predict") that this means the movie will be about Jedi's coming back full time.

Looks good. Plus I like the design of Chappie in that it isn't the most complicated design for a robot. We're seeing more and more complicated robot designs in film where every cog and gear has to be shown moving. Even Iron Man is getting into that shitty phase judging from the recent Avengers 2 trailer.

I really am excited for this although, sans Drive and Bronson, Refn's work is a bit spotty. But Cliff Martinez is going to score again with a noir vibe to it? Count me in.

"The movies have never been a big deal for me."

Whew! For a second I thought this was the film DIRTY GRANDPA but that has Zac Efron and not Pattinson. I applied for a PA job for that film so this article worried me there.

I've been saying this when this was just a rumor but I'll repeat myself:

Those are pretty big "gets" for AMC. Not sure if the subject matter is something that intrigues me but with talent like that well….Who cares?

Matt Smith looks so damn ridiculous. I know when your an actor, especially for a long running series, you wanna go for something of the opposite of your last project. But a hard nose resistance fighter he does not…or at least look like one.

It's weird but I find myself having more interest in the non-Avengers (or at least non-Civil War related) films than the big three. Black Panther and Captain Marvel is fucking great news with the former having another great casting choice for their superhero. Also, we get a definitive conformation on Dr. Strange,

I'm sorry but this looks fucking disgusting.

My only issue with this is that Cumberbatch has such a distinctive voice. When I read a comic with Dr. Strange in it I would never have thought of Cumberbatch mouthing off these ridiculous spells or other crazy things. Venture Bros has spoiled it for me because Dr. Orpheus is a perfect knockoff of Strange and I can't

I don't watch the show anymore but my family told me what this episode was and I got excited that it covered my favorite line in the history of the comic (so far).

Years ago I worked at a Borders and the only people who bought the Archie comics were middle aged housewives. Now I am flabbergasted at how drastic of a change this line has gotten. I'm not complaining mind you; Archie comics have been some of the most consistent and most fun books on the stand today. So of course I'm

Mr. Eko pisses me off so much because he was a great character who had a great flashback to introduce him. Compared to all the other people on the tail end of the plane the fact that Libby was the only person to live (for a while) after this season pisses me off to no end. I never understood why Adewale felt so

It's amazing how quickly she made a mark with this show. I mean last season she shocked everybody with that monologue on Update that got people in a tizzy. But now she has a solid voice and is kicking ass. Good for her.

For some reason I always link this episode to John Swartzwelder even though I know by now it is not. Maybe it is because of the hobos being a key focal point in this.
