I know it's been a while, but yeah no you can't with phones. It's different. It's not like programming for a single version of Windows with a single version of DirectX. Think of it as having to program for multiple versions of Windows and with several versions of DirectX many of which are not backwards compatible with

One of the reasons why I haven't bought it is because of lack of HDMI out. At this point a couple of decent games will push me over the edge and I think I will pick it up.

Final Fantasy XIII was a a straight path where it didn't even need to tell you "go here" because for the first 20 hours there was only one option. You couldn't even explore if you wanted to.

Ahh good old slut shaming, how many women have you been out on dates with? Or do you not go out on dates, because dating is for whores?

Though I agree that it does hand hold a bit, there's not many JRPGs that don't. Look at Final Fantasy XIII, that game hand holds for what 15-20 hours?

Some of the stuff doesn't fall under fair use. For example some of the songs include samples from existing songs, and it's not just a parody cover.

It's not baseless though, they did the same thing in the Sims 3, they've all but indicated that this is the direction the game was going so he came to a conclusion that just sort of makes sense. It could be wrong, but it wouldn't be off base.

MSG3

Yeah Star Ocean: LHI is good, story is kind of silly, but the battle system and everything else is really fun.

I liked resonance of fate, but after 20 hours, the battle system gets really repetitive. I can't grind anymore in that game without wanting to bang my head into a wall.

Final Fantasy IX's last boss was a total cop out, and games that pull that sort of stuff are also cop outs. Final Fantasy VI with Kefka turning into a demigod and you had to fight him was fine because that was part of the plot. You defeating Kuja and then needing to fight Necron who is completely unrelated to the plot

I'm only 10 hours or so through Xenoblade but it is by far the best JRPG I've played since Persona 4. There's an incredible amount of depth to the combat system that I just haven't seen in nearly any RPG besides maybe a couple of portable console RPGs. The story is stereotypical JRPG fare but at least Xord is a pretty

This was a promised feature of the game. Bioshock Infinite isn't out yet and then they said "hey, no multiplayer" this is more like, "we can't get features x, y and z out from day one, but in a few months after release it will be good to go" and then it never happening. Blizzard really disappointed me with D3.

Because it's an incredibly obtuse statement. It's one thing if he makes the private decision to do so, but to say his decision is above criticism when he posts it on a popular blog is ridiculous.

If society can't tell the difference between simulated violence either through literature, film, video games or any other kind of art then there are much larger problems with society than I originally thought.

It is a fan game that has been given the OK by Capcom proper.

Things have changed since then. I remember it was mainly anonymous bullies who you blocked and would leave you alone. Nowadays it's usually someone you know in real life or someone who you have been chatting with for a while. You block them and then they create fake accounts, or they start spamming your Facebook or

This comment thread has scared the shit out of me. You're absolutely right. I mean people complain when Kotaku posts something unrelated to just purely games, but this is the first time I've seen it descend into just sexist name-calling.

Well officially Reuters uses Canon exclusively so any submissions that ended up being Nikons were probably personal or loaners, thats why the data is so skewed in favor of particular lenses and particular cameras, because well that's the cameras/lenses they were given for the shoots.

Hmm, don't remember honestly. I just remember the deals being there, I didn't personally use them.
