There is literally nothing cool about being in a car that autonomously drives itself around the track. Part of racing is experiencing risk. Having a computer minimize that risk far beyond what a human can eliminates the whole purpose of the rush. That’s like jumping out of a plane knowing that there is a safety net

Logos do not an STi make. There are a lot of WRXs and even base Imprezas rolling around with people who have slapped the STi logo on them. Saw a Forrester about a year ago rocking STi logos all over it. Only thing missing was the wing!

First lesson learned riding my 50cc when I was 4, get on the gas if you’re in trouble.

Stop jerking us around...

Touareg in the lineup no questions asked.

Can’t stop laughing.

Jesus, are you that blind? It’s dangerous as hell if they get a blue screen of death while they’re flying! They might have to go grab a coffee while the system reboots and loads them up into another UAV.

As I stated in the other column on this, “WTF.” Slap a GM sticker over my Subaru emblem and tell them I “suped” up my Monte Carlo. Come at me.

WTF. Didn’t even realize this was truly a thing. Guess I’d just put a GM sticker over my Subaru emblem and call it good? Say I “suped” up my Monte Carlo and this is how I roll.

This is my expectation of the Dakar Rally. Anything less and its notoriety gets diminished. People forget that the more rules put in place to limit the chaos, the less the appeal.

This is generally a conscious choice to get this drunk. Just because you're black out drunk doesn't excuse you from your actions from that point forward. Why don't you grow a set and start taking responsibility for your actions like the rest of us? You sound like that affluenza kid. I had a $140 Uber bill during a

This is a tough thing to beat. I know this is what causes a number of issues for my friends up in WY. People will schedule the local taxi service to get them at 2:15am and the taxi never shows up, but somehow tried contacting you a bunch.

I thought you had to drive drunk to drive in WI? More dangerous to be sober and driving up there.

Thanks for posting this. Having seen a number of friends get DUI, it just isn’t worth it. Even a $50 Uber/Lyft ride is better than the potential downfall from a DUI.

Dubai is really a disgusting city. Not a place I’d put on top of my list to revisit.

When are people going to learn to not sit on the outside of a corner at a rally? Wtf people.

Yeah, IDK that this was a waste. I love the look and having that sound.

This made my night.

I’m hoping you’re trolling people. If so, you’re doing well.

I think you’re completely missing the point here. A lot of people do it because of situations exactly like this. We follow a car blog and one could easily assume that means we care more about vehicles than the average joe. As such, I’d much rather control what goes on with my car as much as possible, even if it’s more
