People don't like the new Transformers because a) it's not really transformers and b) they don't like Bayhem (or at the very least are suffering from fatigue).

Listen, we are all presented with challenges. I get tired and want to sleep too. But I feel we need to "step up" in these situations and, generally speaking, can't "trust" someone who puts something like sleeping or eating or staying alive ahead of commitment to meets that are scheduled at completely different times.

You do realize that this is an argument for "if everyone is doing PEDs then it's not cheating", right? Because that's often the justification given by athletes. The endurance sports like cycling, running & triathlon even add in the safety issue by arguing that PEDs protect the health of the athlete.
