Those same people complain about Tesla’s batteries. I’m not sure they’re even real people. Just the Koch bros version of internet shills probably.

So you prefer automakers lying to you and getting away with it? At what point do you people notice your belligerent stupidity?

Joest meant electric cars are far worse for the Koch bros $100Billion fortune.

Crony capitalism is a term describing an economy in which success in business depends on close relationships between business people and government officials

Utter nonsense. Why does it need to charge in 5 minutes at a GAS STATION?? One of the benefits of electric cars is any outlet is a charge station. Some are just faster than others. I’d rather never deal with a gas station again in my life, personally.

Its been widely reported already bro.

Most electric cars charge at night. EVs are not really a factor in your little problem.

All the people breathing in those noxious fumes behind you are probably saying fuck you too buddy.

Whats you’re issue with Tesla? If anything they’d probably partner to build more stations.

Hydrogen is not “readily available”. Everything has its issues but hydrogen is not a serious or viable alternative fuel. Tesla will soon be producing 500,000 EVs a year. Toyota plans to make maybe a few hundred fuel cell cars in that same time frame. Several automakers are planning long range electric cars within the

Nonsense. In Europe lots of cars run on natural gas. They even sell a few here. However you don’t get any advantages like instant torque or lower maintenance costs as with EVs. Then there’s the problem with natural gas fields being significant emittors of methane which is a very potent greenhouse gas. The goal is to

Just repeating that doesn’t make it so. The only advantage with hydrogen cars is they have longer range - but that benefit is negated by the almost non-existent hydrogen fueling infastructure. People who leaded the Honda Clarity fcv have complained in car forums that the hydrogen stations (in Cali) were also

You’re wrong on both counts.

A car with almost nowhere to refuel it, with almost nowhere to purchase it, and with almost no cars to purchase is not an answer to anything. Hydrogen cars are tethered to the very few hydrogen islands (stations) that service them. Or you can wait a couple years for longer range more affordable EVs.

You don’t see the difference in eliminating tailpipe CO2 emissions as a source? Or the advantages of the CO2 being emitted from smokestack where it can be more easily captured? The grid is also rapidly getting cleaner. You don’t need to wait till its 100% for electrics to be beneficial. All the arguments against

Why? You travel 500 miles a day? Maybe its just you they don’t work for then.

Its a good thing Musk didn’t say we should stop making ICEs tomorrow so whats “dumb” about this discussion? The fact we need to get off using gas ASAP. NOT 30-50 years from now because thats the exact time frame for when temps will be 2-4 degrees higher with catastrophic consequences.

Elon Musk has already opened up his patents so anybody can build EVs and use the same infrastructure. He even announced this past week that a non-german European automaker approached him about using the fast charger network.

Can’t say I agree with anything you wrote.

The problem is we’ll all be drowning, burning, or starving due to climate change if everybody keeps driving gas cars, like within a few decades.
