I've owned all three generations, but not a Mazdaspeed. I still have my 1.6L 93, and it is dreadfully gutless in modern context. However, at the time it was introduced 16-valve "zingy" engines were fairly new thing. It has literally negative torque. I've also had a NA 1.8L, much more torque but simply less fun and

@Zane... my 2013 GT (NC model) has a fabric roof, not vinyl... in the US, vinyl is only on the base models, and the NA/NB models...

Love the slope. I hope the PRHT hard top maintains this slope!

LOOOOOOOVE

LOVING IT! Obviously I am a fan, but... this is just excellent. I think some of the details are either exaggerated or not quite perfect, but based on the camo cars I think this is as close as it's going to get until tomorrow. WOW.

Oh, and... this can't be the original suspension... maybe the original components with something added in... but NO 2CV has this little body roll...

I am in love. 2CV? LOVE. BMW twin? LOVE. Sound? LOVE.

Hmmm, wonder what camera set up that is?

You know, F**K Ferrari. What a bunch of dicks. I mean, look... they complain about this guy, yet they sold one of these to JUSTIN BIEBER? I mean, how much more douche-bag do you get? Fuck this.

This is my favorite Singer (that I've seen anyway) yet. What an amazing retro color scheme, and I LOOOOOVE a good brown interior.

brilliant.

Yup, mine has the shimmy too... they all do to some degree. Even my former 2005 NB had it, and Mazda ended up buying it back because they simply could not get it right, after every rotating part on the car was replaced, with no results. The solution is mega-precise road force balancing, and frame-rails/x-brace under

HA, not a chance. Thanks for the offer. LOL. The 93-LE will be with me, with any luck, until my death! :-)

Yes, I totally completely agree. However, they can (and do) rightly claim to have developed the quintessential sports cars (MG, Triumph, Lotus, Healey, etc) on which the entire Miata concept draws 90% of it's mechanical and design ethos.

Yup, that's my baby. :-) I have the 2013 as a trip car, etc... I don't want to pile miles on the 93. And let's face it, the 13 is a LOT more comfortable than the 93. **puts on flame suit**

It's hard to argue with these guys... and the best part is they're owners as well! I certainly cannot disagree... these may not be the best sports cars, but they're pretty close... and they're affordable. I've been a convert since the debut... and my passion for them is growing, not waning at the 25th anniversary!

I agree, it looks a lot like an NC under that sheet... but, Mazda is being pretty crafty about keeping things a secret. I think everyone needs to take a chill pill until we see some real images.

Damn damn... that is amazing.

I don't see an image, but the BRG is my second favorite NA Miata... and it's vastly different from the LE in the way it was kitted out... so, it might be one to add to the collection! :-)
