II’m a server, so of course, the easy thing for me to say is yes, tip me $20 for that $100 bottle of wine. I can make excuse after excuse why you should pay me that tip, because I want more money for less work. But working in the restaurant industry, many servers forget, or actually, choose to ignore, that even though

are you sure that wasn’t diet-related

“People shouldn’t have independent thought processes. They should join my hive mind or I consider them an enemy and danger to society.” - You

I would never give my passport to someone.  Airport customs and security sure.  But a car rental place in a foreign land?  No way.

Youtube and Facebook were both companies that spent more money then they were taking in when they first started. Youtube was spending $1 million a month on bandwidth before it was bought out by Google. So this idea isn’t always destined for failure.

Jeez, do I have to do everything around here?

Doesn’t any car with an alternator charge up the batteries while in motion?

“Hey Honey, I bet I can smuggle 200lbs of uncut cocaine into the USA”

when you clearly meet the basic requirements like personability (see: “nice guys,” who I guess can be compared to the well- or overqualified person who loses out on a job to an eye candy hire

At least this person had a backup plan.

let’s ignore the whole sexual assault victim thing for a second ... don’t tell me you’ve never met someone who describes themselves as a “dj” but is a dental hygienist on the side.... it’s just pretentious to describe your hobby as your job and your pay the bills job as a side gig.

Can we just drop tipping and make restaurant owners pay their employees a living wage? Build it into the price of the menu items. When people no longer show up because their Olive Garden meal costs too much then we can adjust or eat at home. Tipping that is expected is a ridiculous model.

You can afford you gift someone a $100k car? Cool, that means you can also afford to gift them the cash to cover the taxes.

If you have to explain it, its not funny. . . . .
