Right. So, my point is this:
Right. So, my point is this:
Well, you’re assuming that this happens in one big “event”. Sure, if the entirety of the US military was turned on the US citizens, we would have a very slim chance to come out on top.
Mass surveillance and the confiscation of guns are two steps of the same plan, friend. They are not opposing ideas, they actually work in conjunction with one another toward the same goal; a population that is always being watched, and has no means to defend themselves.
I’m seeing confusing ideas coming from the gun-control crowd. The idea of the government keeping tabs on you is scary (I agree), but the idea of the government taking away your ability to defend yourself against them (guns) isn’t scary?
Man, no surprise that people complaining about landlords are commenting on internet articles in the middle of a workday.
You’re assuming that the US military as a whole would mount an assault on US citizens. People aren’t going to wage war on their friends and family, especially not in an attempt to disarm the population (which would violate the constitution, which the military is sworn to defend).
These already sell almost faster than they can build them.
Have we really resorted to calling toy guns “automatic” and “assault weapons”?
What about when a dealer tells you they paid $36,000 on a trade in Civic Type R that retailed for $35,000?
Yeah! We can’t allow these poison peddling companies to be so bold as to use flavors that would appeal to children! Shame on JUUL for blatantly coming up with the idea of using fruit flavors in something that is only for adults!
I’m going to have two main talking points here, so just digest them one at a time. And just for the record, this is coming from a registered Democrat, who has voted as such in every election since I was old enough to vote. I just happen to like guns and I believe in the merit of the 2nd amendment (and the constitution…
That’s not what I’m trying to make my argument appear as.
If you so strongly disagree with one of the primary founding principals of the US, you’re more than welcome to leave. There’s plenty of other countries where guns aren’t permitted (hint: they are still there), choose one and buy your plane ticket.
What? I mean objectively bad. I’m talking about criminals. The people who are willing to use a gun to harm someone else, or to aid in the act of committing a crime. Those people are not going to sell their guns to the government, or hand their guns in.
Ammosexual, I like that! Are you willing to have an adult and levelheaded conversation about this topic?
Look, you have a handgun because you are afraid of bad people. If we did something like this, you and other good people would gladly participate. The bad people you’re afraid of would not.
Wow, that’s a staggering number. I wonder how many lives we could save if we banned heroin! Oh, wait...
I don’t know why we haven’t considered banning guns sooner, really.
Columbus’ local LaFerrari is a victim of the front plate. If it was me, I’d probably just forget it and take the ticket (if it ever came to that). Not like the dude needs to worry about the fine.
What is this, logic and firsthand experience with the subject? Get out of here!
