First, I concede that this is stupid and does not look fun in most cases.

Good for you. Some people have genetic predispositions to certain things (high cholesterol, high blood pressure, poor liver function, etc.) that a ketogenic diet really helps alleviate. But good on you for bragging that you don’t have to adhere to a particular diet to be in good health.
Worth1000? I think now called DesignCrowd.
I’ve never quite caught air, but this story will probably never be relevant elsewhere... and wheels did leave the ground.

“In most states, an assault/battery is committed when one person: 1) tries to or does physically strike another, or 2) acts in a threatening manner to put another in fear of immediate harm.”
In their defense, you’re likely pretty far outside of Rockstar’s target demographic. Not that they *shouldn’t* cater to more people, but I understand why they put less effort into it.
I have not, actually! I would love to. It was a toss up between buying my current 370Z and an S2000, but I didn’t want to deal with a soft top during Ohio winters.
Oh, trust me, I get it. But Miata acceleration is truly unique; and not in a good way.

I want to be exhilarated when I hammer on it.
Show me a first gen Viper with a clean title in the high teens. Please.
You should try a supermoto.
Maybe, maybe not. I’m almost certain that the remote in the video is an off-the-shelf unit. And commercially available radio frequency remotes generally have more than one button. It’s not like they manufactured the remote for this stunt.
I think less thought goes into this than you might like to imagine. Working with/for OEMs over the years, I’ve seen cars still taped and camo’d up long after their public debuts, even. I always assumed it was just laziness and/or indifference.
Using your own example...
It’s almost as if the infrastructure of this city was developed in the 19th century! Oh, wait...
I worked in automotive manufacturing for 4 years. I’ve been inside several plants. Mass production plants are dirty, period. If you don’t believe it, you’ve never been inside one.
Curious why they don’t just make the batteries swappable.
