In their defense, you’re likely pretty far outside of Rockstar’s target demographic.  Not that they *shouldn’t* cater to more people, but I understand why they put less effort into it.

Maybe, maybe not. I’m almost certain that the remote in the video is an off-the-shelf unit. And commercially available radio frequency remotes generally have more than one button. It’s not like they manufactured the remote for this stunt.

I think less thought goes into this than you might like to imagine. Working with/for OEMs over the years, I’ve seen cars still taped and camo’d up long after their public debuts, even. I always assumed it was just laziness and/or indifference.

I worked in automotive manufacturing for 4 years. I’ve been inside several plants. Mass production plants are dirty, period. If you don’t believe it, you’ve never been inside one.
