It’s precisely what I tell my wife when she puts her feet on the dash. And, of course, I can’t talk her into buying an S-class or extended wheelbase anything for her to sit in back and put her feet up!

Now the bigger question - will it be for sale in the States again?! Not that I can currently afford one, but maybe by the time I'm about to retire, a lightly used one (municipality owned?) one will be available for a 10th of the original MSRP.

I’m sure our buddy Steve Lehto would weigh in to say that if they verbally say it’s been done, and that their ‘master tech’ says its been done, have them write it down. So when it fails, there will be a warranty on it. Or something to that effect. Steve?!
You can thank the new crash standards for some of the weight increase and the lack of visibility in new cars.
I think a lot depends on how old Paul and his fiance are. If they are younger, it may strain the relationship. If they are older, and by older, maybe in their mid 30's or older, it may not matter if they are doing well financially.
