The van is for my wife and it’s wheelchair converted. - https://jalopnik.com/here-is-why-i-bought-a-honda-minivan-that-cost-about-as-1845436707

I seriously cross shopped the Arteon when I got my A4. The Arteon loaded leased out a little higher than my mid tier trim A4, so it was a pretty simple decision for me. Had the R motor been an option at the time it might have made a difference. It’s a BEAUTIFUL car in person.

now we just need the shooting brake here in the states. I would honestly be one of the 10 people to actually buy one. for real.

100% believable that these awful people would have a template ready, so they don’t have to type out the whole thing every time this happens...

They’re also very big on defacing the U.S. flag, being über-patriots and all.

People who hate free handouts(money) are using free handouts for this....

The modern republican party right here folks! Remember, these morons will be voting this November.

Do these Trumptards not have jobs? They sure have a lot of time to, you know, enact change, and urinate on each other.

Comfort, room, power, and a budget of $60k? Have I got a deal for you!

Sadly, much of the dash on this generation of E-Class is unrepresentative of a car of this caliber. The seats on the other hand are pretty sweet.

That V8 is magnificent, and it’ll run forever, and the whole car is just so practical, it’s got the extra space and the comfort and it doesn’t yell “Look at me!”...

I will say that them delivering a car to you with a seven day test drive period and them coming to you to buy a used vehicle is really nice. I sold a vehicle to a dealership recently- got an online quote, took it in and I then had to haggle and shit over the price they offered to me in-person, which was two grand

Used car dealers are such a pain in the ass that a lot of people are willing to lose a lot of money simply for the convenience of not having to deal with one.

I didn’t have a problem with the fake marina. I had a problem with them not making it Florida enough. Where were the fake gators infesting the fake water? Where’s the clapped out fishing boat owned by tweakers?

LOL, you won’t see any of those big yachts in Monaco this year, they are being seized or went back to Russia to a safe port

I haven’t looked into the replacement procedure, but the battery appears to be buried behind the front right wheel without any easy way to get to it.

I had to drive with the top up on a portion of the drive home. It definitely seems like GM designed this to be top-down all of the time unless you absolutely had to drive with it up.

Own a N/A Solstice with the manual.  Everything you say is correct.  Fun to drive, super reliable, cheap parts, and no storage.  Have fun replacing the battery, kind of a PITA.

And they’re still going to vote the same way.

As usual, outstanding material to get our research started. I’m glad you’re writing for Jalopnik.
