You could see this announcement coming from a mile away. For a few weeks now, sometimes at the start of a HotS match there would be a sudden change in lighting and a short earthquake.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say that I am not going to continue reading Deadspin due to the management’s lack of concern for the user experience. These auto-playing videos with the sound on are too much. I’ve been a reader for nearly 10 years, but I can’t abide by such egregious lack of care for the product.

Sweet! Monkey Island is one of my favorite game series of all time so the nostalgia factor is definitely there for this. I’m curious how many takes it took to get the whistling part so good? Or maybe Kirk is just the unsung hero of the whistle?

I should preface this post by saying that I am a 73 year old that obviously grew up in a different time. From the time I was twelve on, I was taught and believed that a man’s word was his bond and very few people were willing to tarnish their reputation. Here’s the thing with the “curse”. Any player, statistically, is going to have a roughly 4.1% chance to injure themselves and they tend to miss a mean of 3.1 games per injury as per this article from 2016 (with broken graphics)

The problem is power creep. Think about what happens if they just allow broken builds to completely trivialize content when compared to all the other builds.
