Do they salt the roads where this Jeep is sold? That is the first and probably most important question.

Pennsylvania? My dad and I used to walk around car lots on Sundays specifically for that reason.

An angry wife pulling a gun on the receptionist of the Volkswagen dealership I worked at. Her husband, one of the salesmen, was cheating on her with one of the receptionists. She showed up and pulled a gun on the one at the front desk. It was the wrong one. In the end nobody got hurt, but that was pretty tense.

You should really note that this is completely different than Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI), which the lender applies to your down payment is less than 20% of the purchase price. PMI protects the lender if you default on your loan, it doesn’t protect you.

I am continually amazed that somehow people think they have the right to a car that can go 200mph on public roads.

“Guys, that’s $20 for crudités, and this doesn’t include the tequila,”

Super cool $8000 car.

Another political piece on what used to be a great car site. No matter what your politics are this used to be a place people could come together and read about cars. Now most articles are divisive clickbait. Erin you seem to miss the point of this site and aren't welcome here.

Still never heard any specifics on how exactly this testing was done. Did they literally just buy a sandwich and test the tuna after it’s already been mixed with a bunch of other junk? Could that be throwing the results off somehow?

They tow with everything in the rest of the world. I know it’s a crazy concept but you can tow an entire boat without needing a F250! Who could have known?

And none of this is new, or specific to cars, as the article implies.

At least we know who’s approving the 10 year old story re-posts LOL

This has more to do with Tesla and not EVs in general.

If a restaurant actually offers their own delivery service (pizza and Chinese are the big two around me), I’ll gladly take advantage of the service and tip the guy cash when he shows up.

First world problem.  How about we all go back to picking up our own shit and not pawn it off to someone else?

I had one for a short time that I bought off of my coworker that purchased it new. 90% of the issues were due to rust from 17 western-NY winters, but the thing still ran like a champ 250k miles later. Was going to use it for car-camping, but covid hit and I bought a cargo van.

It calls for federal rules to limit the impact of potentially biased algorithms that when used by appraisers might artificially and negatively impact a home’s value.

Seriously don’t understand why people keep doing this shit. Also bollocks he was trying to clear water from his helmet and didn’t see the lights. The video quality is high enough that you can clearly see he has both hands on the bars, he sees the barrier and he hunches down to try to get under it.

I, however, am not a good driver. I cannot be expected to safely drive a car that is RWD and I definitely cannot drive manual.

Hey Lawrence, I haven’t read your article yet, but I just wanted to say that I’m very happy to see you all back at the desk. This is the first Jalopnik article that I open. Congrats to you and your colleagues for making it through in rough times.
