I find it very sad that it feels like every one I know has had someone they know be killed by a drunk driver.

I also lost a friend to a drunk driver.  I am so sorry you had to go through this as well.  I hope all states adopt this “strict” limit.  There is absolutely no excuse anymore in this age of Uber, Lyft, cabs, public transport, etc.

I’d say judging a person for a couple of sentences about an episode of TV that didn’t grab them is pretty informative as well.

A friend passed away because they were hit by a drunk driver, whose BAC was under the legal limit. It was extremely traumatic for all of us. We dont go to that part of the city. It forever changed my relationship with alcohol.

Unfortunately true. I once got hit by a teenager who didn’t have a driver’s license. Apparently she had failed the test a couple of times. The good news is the car she was driving was her mom’s car which was insured.

I generally agree with you, but can think of several scenarios where it would actually hurt to try or ask.
