Families who keep blinders on like this do it because they know the person they continue to slander without proof is not interested in suing them the way anyone else would. So, at some point, keeping up the accusations without evidence and while someone else was convicted with ample evidence is pretty malicious.

Remember the wrongly convicted teens that were the subject of the Paradise Lost (all 3 documentaries)? That included a Defendant who looked “weird” to the jury of rural white southerners. He read books on Wicca and was portrayed as a devil worshiper. And one of the Defendants, who had a very low IQ, gave a false

“the way her PR company was adamant in calling him a “drifter immigrant”

Oh, I did.

And so crazy.

Moving day?

Oh, God. Bed bugs. They’re one of my biggest nightmares. I have a friend who paid thousands of dollars to get rid of them, and NOTHING WORKED.

No, but I’ve been the kid with lice :(

DON’T. This is the entire show, but with more nostril flaring and lip pursing and eye rolling:

Because its made of copper. Copper turns green from water.

I have visceral reaction to people clipping nails in public. There is NO WAY I could have worked for that guy.

I’m more than a little surprised that I’ve received so many responses to the tune of “shoes are too constraining!” or “I just don’t like them!”

I DOES sound familiar now that you mention it.

That’s what I was thinking. Since when do drug buyers get even more involved with their dealer than they already are?

Aw shucks, I don’t know what to say to that besides thank-you. :D But I think quite a few commenters are like this and better, including you.

300m is 3 football fields or almost 4 average city blocks. I really don’t think that in a city teeming with  tourists and students, the nearest dealer you can do business with is that far away. Anyways, that’s neither here nor there since I don’t remember hearing of any evidence these people knew each other much less

If it was disclosed in court wouldn’t that mean she found out pretty late in the day? Lots of things are possible but the fact remains that there was a murderer put in jail and serving time. We’re also minimizing the fact that when you’re caught up in a legal system that is the reverse of ours in that you’re guilty

I reread and you didn’t want kids, so the world still sucks but I’m glad for you. 😆 Back to trying to fix it...what you wrote was beautiful, and you’re very right.

I don’t want you to to think we’ve gone full fatalistic. We haven’t, but it’s a very weird space. We’re not the first to think twice about it over the centuries, and we certainly won’t be the last.

Then, it’s even more, not less, likely that he’s guilty and acted alone. Who can say that Knox knew he wasn’t a drifter. Perhaps he saw her and her roomate but she never noticed him around the neighborhood.
