I was afraid to suggest living on a cash basis because I thought everyone would assume that I’m crazy or “out of touch.” Yay you! And me. This is what I do for ALMOST everything. It isn’t practical for many people, but If folks can swing it, I think it’s a great way to keep track of what you spend.

As I struggled to wake up this morning I was bombarded by the exact same thoughts. I have never felt like the US is a place to be especially proud of. But we are really putting a lot of effort into screwing ourselves right now.
