Why did I not think of that right before my Dad's full-on Catholic wedding service last month. What is wrong with me.

Ever since I took the position, I have felt confident that no one else in the United States has the exact job I have.

I work for a cat circus

Getting old(er) is good: You admit EVERYthing about yourself, good and bad, then move along. I admitted a long time ago that I'm a grammar/punctuation/spelling nazi. Had texting been available when I was "dating," I would've remained largely "dateless," since about 98% of my potential "dates" seemed, it turned out,

So agreed about wedding guest white. I went to a friend's wedding and saw another guest in a white cocktail dress. Afterward I wanted to ask my friend "Who was that and do you need me to cut a bitch?"

He wanted to take you higher.

Agreed, totally unacceptable. I also wonder how big the restaurant itself is, and what type of building it is. Where I work, we have one in the women's restroom but not one in the men's, because it's just an old house converted into a restaurant, so the bathrooms are teeny tiny and there's issues with zoning stuff for

I moved to Houston from San Diego. Dear God was that a culture shock but yeah, I'm used to it by now. We should do a Houston meet up! There seems to be a lot of ladies in the nearby area given how many times they respond to Texas posts. LOTS in Houston and a few in Austin.

As a cat person and someone who volunteers at a shelter yes please consider an adult cat or bonded pair if you can afford it. A bonded pair would be great since you might be home less hours. Yes kittens are adorable but they require a ton more work and attention. An adult could just be an immediate easy companion.

I swear by volunteerism in this situation. Years ago I made many friends and a boyfriend by volunteering at an animal shelter. It also eventually led to a full time job.

Awesome idea! And there's a library within walking distance! I've been there for books but never thought to check out other options they offer. Thanks for the idea. :)

I live by myself for a couple of months before I got a cat. You should get a more adult cat. Shelters have a hard time adopting them out because people always want kittens. Getting two would be best. I used to just have one cat, but she started treating me like her litter mate, so I got a second cat to keep her

We adopted this adorable little girl today! Her name is Cleopatra - you can't see her little cateye eyeliner marks very well in this photo, but they're so cute. And when we were registering her microchip, we found out she was born on the day hubby and I got married, so it's obviously fate! We got her tons of toys and

So... I bought my first house this week (sort of). It's actually a trailer... a very nice trailer, so don't judge. I saw it on Craigslist, and it was totally adorable when I went to see it in person, and decided to take the plunge. I'll need to pay a lot rent but after it's all said and done, I've essentially cut my

Where is Butters and the "nobody cares about your boner" comment? *waits patiently*

Ouch. I understand where you are coming from and I would probably say the same thing to myself. But honestly, at this point, my dog IS my well-being. Giving her up will never be option. Maybe that's stupid of me. But its just not possible.

Maybe send him a text, let him know you know and you don't feel like discussing it right now?

I knows that feel! I am the same, in dissertation mode and I have the flu. Just want to curl up in my duvet and die. Except not because we've actually got a heatwave in UK, so it's too hot to curl up and everyone is doing fun summer stuff. Boo!

I imagine the orgasm like a whale sound.

I've heard pets love to watch and I just wonder what they think the whole time and WHY are they watching. They must know what's going on because they don't watch anything else.
