I never much liked, nor connected with any of the characters on, Fringe at all, so I’ll have to disagree with you there.

Honestly, I think it was quicker than that. In the pilot, Britta was a cool, self-aware, cynical but politically-active adult. LITERALLY starting the second episode, she became this gullible, kneejerk-leftist, blatantly hypocritical straw-feminist. Annie didn’t fare much better except that, as a not-explicit-feminist,…
Not necessarily true. Creating a hostile work environment can be harassment.
Have you looked into the full specifics of this? Considering her response of “to trust a boss when he complimented me and not cringe when he asked for my number. I was afraid to be enthusiastic, knowing it might be turned against me later” there’s cause to think it was harassment and not just a mercurial dick boss.
maybe... asshole bosses should not be the norm... and holding them accountable is a step towards that....?!?!?
That’s what it boils down to. I see this so much when the topic of racism is broached. Someone does or says something bigoted, gets called out and somehow the discussion veers into their comfort, as if it’s a child being addressed. I’ve seen situations where the person even starts to literally cry. It always comes…
As someone who really enjoyed Community, I feel like it’s still really easy to watch how the show treated its female characters and know what kind of a writer’s room Dan Harmon ran.
“I feel bad for treating you like shit. How can you not make me feel bad about it?”
“I would feel a lot of relief if you told me there was a way to fix it”
You can also get a DLC that makes one of your party members a Conservative and he’s all “why should *I* have to work for *your* healthcare” and you get the dialogue option of “because if we all pitch in we can create a system that benefits all of us with minimal total cost” and then they’d be all “lol Librul tears!”…
Cho-Aniki, nobody remembers how good of a shooter it is (it’s probably not), but it’s effin’ insane no matter how far you go.
With a high enough pledge, they will put a pixel version of you in the book. I just did this and some weird dude with a camera dropped from the sky and took my picture. Fuzzy Pickles!
They were both bi, for what it’s worth, and so am I.
This is great. I have the Freddie figure and have been hoping desperately for them to put out David Bowie or someone else cool.
Ok now I wanna see a buddy cop-style movie where Bruce Lee and Freddie Mercury solve crimes together.
People with addictive tendencies tend to get addicted to things they enjoy. Who knew?
This reads like an attempt to culturally stigmatize gaming. Wouldn’t be surprised if certain governments (i.e., China, etc.) use (or are even behind) these efforts as a mechanism to drop the hammer on gaming in their society.
Pointless story: when I was a kid in the early 90s, my Aunt got me a video game for...something, probably Hanukkah. I had never heard of this game, so I had to do the whole fake enthusiasm bit so she wouldn’t feel bad. Cracked it open that night with basement-floor expectations to find an 80+ page manual, which to a…
Mmm suddenly I want a rectangle of goat cheese with herbs and some crackers
Well, I got WolfQuest.
