You would hope that there would be at least one shred of physical evidence to say it was yours. Like, “check the glovebox for a pair of sunglasses” or there should be a “small scratch just outside of the drivers side keyhole in the door.”

Maybe on a car like this the imperfections are rare and there aren’t any custom

If sure makes life easier when you have it.  Lots of big and little problems go away quickly and easily.

This isn’t the refresh I was hoping for. I was hoping they’ take care of those tail lights and integrated side markers. The lights are too high on the trunk and the side markers should be sperate.

Not much of a challenge on this one since there is plenty of budget to work with.

I didn’t think any v8 would fit in these (hence the 3.6). But it appears you can.

How was it with the 3800SC in it? Was it too heavy in back? How about a LFX 3.6 swap from say... an Impala?

I’m finding (at least one GT for sale) without it. The ad must be wrong?

Can someone explain the difference in the “flying buttress” on some cars and not on others?  Some have glass that goes down to the back of the car, others have the notch.

Go to the Mazda dealer and test drive a Miata. It is always the answer...

I’ve called tow companies and after waiting for far too long I had to call back and ask where the truck was. Then they tell you they are also on call for the city when there is a major traffic accident and they had to send the truck somewhere else. Oh, and they didn’t call to tell you that they weren’t coming.

Actually, maybe we don’t mind turning wrenches on the occasion that something goes wrong. Or since the powertrains are usually pretty solid from GM, we can just live with slow power windows, ignore the emissions light and bad HVAC servos.

Ask me again when the timing chain in my LFX 3.6 throws the CEL. I miss the 3800

Ah, too bad.  Thanks for the interesting read though.

Or they are willing to speed past you/cut you off to get to the front only to find that by the time they found a “good spot” you parked further out and walked in already.

To back into “my spot” in the far back row at work, align the hood scoop with the parking lot lamp across from it.

Let me correct: and allow not wearing helmets. But yes, I meant not mandate.

Motorcycle helmet mandates?

Exactly. It’s not my cup of tea (and for most of the commenters on here), but the price is fine if you’re in to this sort of thing.

No I did not. Not a factory thing, right? And if it was factory with the latency of old incandescent lights, was it just a brightening glow with higher rpm?

Who put those Pep Boys stick on vents on those Buicks?
