Nope, that means Autopilot created the situation where the human failed. If Autopilot didn’t exist then the crash is 100% human error, but since it does exist it gets some measure of blame too.

Haha! You mean we need to stop catering to the voting public that make up the majority of voters?
Why? I mean, that’s not human nature, so why do you expect people to buck human nature?
Brunch is only for rich people.
Did you start grooming her at the age of 10?
That’s not what they said. Rather what they said disagrees with you. Here’s what they said:
Reporting also entails research. If Cook claims the new 7+ portrait mode will triple your Tindr match rate then skepticism is deserved. When quoting him then we should expect original research to validate the claim, or lots of salt until the claim is verified.
I don’t dispute that. What I’m claiming is that their behavior is irresponsible. There are in fact ethical standards that can apply:
And that’s the crux of the discussion. The minute they wrote ‘should’, they should have considered maybe, just maybe, have written, “has not been confirmed”, because that’s what is the case.
Something that is false cannot be a fact. Again, let me quote again what you say is a “fact”:
You think it wasn’t misleading?
That’s my point. They corrected themselves because they posted misleading information. I’m saying maybe they can do more work up front to prevent the need to correct themselves.
This is literally what Jalopnik wrote:
I think they could have been less confusing if they hadn’t initially reported the feature as being able to exit off freeways.
That wasn’t my concern. I was talking about ethically deciding not to quote Elon Musk because his Autopilot feature has already killed two people who misunderstood how it worked.
That’s why I called it ad copy. They chose to quote him and shouldn’t have as the quote was misleading.
No, I’m saying he should not be quoting Elon Musk at face value.
Why, do you know the stock is going to crash?
That is distinctly not how human nature works. That’s why plastic bins have pictures to not let babies play inside them, last day suffocate.
I’m talking about the fact that a previous post says it can handle highway exits, and I mean that anything Musk says is ‘ad copy’
