I needed something I could use for cargo less often than I needed to move people. It got reasonably good gas mileage, was comfortable for long drives, and when I did need the cargo space I could fold down all the seats. The only other option was a minivan (less gas mileage), Highlander, or Pilot (and those two also

Your wagons don’t have three row seats, a necessity when you have four adults, two kids, and a dog to cart around. I mean, the point of a wagon has to include versatility and in my case I needed the third row.

You mean the drug that makes wagons awesome? You must be very sad.

What are you talking about? I actually considered buying a Maxx, but bought a 2005 Freestyle. Later when we outgrew it (and wanted to downsize) I did buy a Mazda 6, non wagon, because it was never offered in the US.

It’s a wagon. That makes it special.

So like this, but with tougher wheels?

No, you’re right, but it is justification. And the rights that can be asserted (own arms, assembly, freedom of speech, search and seizure) are codified in the amendments. So, again, there is perfect excuse for their behavior; they are fighting for their rights to liberty and happiness as explained in the DoI and

You’re talking about the politicians, I’m talking about the people. Almost by definition anyone who gets elected has to be centrist, the question is if they are centrist right or left.

Of course there is an excuse for their behavior. It is, more or less, sanctioned in our Declaration of Independence:

Yeah, by definition the Republican Party (as a whole) is center-right. To define Obama as center-right you would have to define the Republican Party (as a whole) as somehow not mainstream and fringe.

That violates the “Don’t be an idiot” part. Seriously, taken literally, no cars would exist because no one would buy new and all our cars would be like Cuban cars, time machines stuck in the past because only used cars existed.

Yeah, I don’t have a better answer, we’re all making this up as we go along. Men, who currently exert more power in the current hierarchy, will have greater influence on other men then women do until the women gain more power. That aside, I’m getting most of my own experience as a parent training my children in proper

It kind of is. Grown men don't seem to be the majority of the population. It appears quite a few of them are just giant children.

I understand and don't agree women should be doing any work thanklessly.

It’s weird you talk about men with all the power and then point out women without power have been doing a good job without praise as if that is how it should be. What I see is that men with power has created a structure where women without power don’t get recognized and resent that recognition should be given because

Lucky you. My wife had to dump two guys before finding me. Maybe your neck of the woods is better.

I think if you’re doing homework with the kids and organize playdates, which were specifically on my list, I think you’re doing something extraordinary. I think ordinary parents don’t do homework with the kids and don’t organize playdates. Letting your kids play on the street with the neighborhood kids is quite a bit

Yes I do. I’ve seen terrible moms too. Haven’t you?

As a father who does all this, and having watched my wife do it, yes, it is extraordinary. I’m sorry you don’t feel that way. Women should be appreciated for doing extraordinary things, too.

Yes. Sounds like a super effective way to get guys to man up, do the laundry, pick up the kids, cook, and clean.
