Steam users can't even protest Call of Duty to get dedicated servers. You think gamers will stand in solidarity over this?

Its hard to be shocked or care about this scene because you’d swear among FF fans this was the only game in existence. I’ve never touched this game and I already know what happens because this was spoiled ad nauseum.
Sadly Squeenix cancelled all but one "episode" (dlc) for FF15. So if you are waiting for the other 3 you are going to be waiting for a long time. The fact they haven't bungled this up is shocking.
Nope, you aren't missing anything. That's exactly what forced arbitration allows. And it's not strictly in the gaming industry. Anything you sign or agree to will probably have an arbitration in the fine print. I discovered that even car dealerships have it too.
Take your upvote and get out...
In essence, forced arbitration is:
But hey, at least that male is just gullible and easily-misled instead of actively engaged in sexual harassment, presumably. Progress.
Actually, yes, people are entitled to those basic rights. It’s disturbing that your initial reaction to this is that workers are in the wrong. Must be a generational thing.
Either you sign it or you don’t get a paycheck, and it’s not exclusive to the game industry. You will be very hard pressed to find a business that doesn’t have one of these clauses. Even dealerships have these damn arbitration clauses.
Currently these employees and pretty much all game industry employees can easily has reasons invented to have their careers fucked with or even sacked for making too much of a fuss, with a union at your back that becomes much harder.
Employers have taught people to hate unions, to believe they provide no benefits. Walmart’s onboarding process with anti-union brainwashing is a perfect example of that.
Because workers don’t have much rights anymore. Arbitration is perfect example of that. Regular workers have been scared away from demanding certain rights.
Or management could not be giant fuck ups that shouldn't be in charge of anything. There is way to many managers that shouldn't be managers. And this is well within their rights to have a decent work environment, radical thought, I know.
Not a bad idea. Though maybe teaching kids not be POS lenders and not rewarding predatory lending that tanks a countries economy would be more valuable. And that secondary education should be rewarded, not punished via debt and interest.
I don’t follow reviews or most public reviews on games, I’ve been burned too many times. So it’s a legit question for me to ask...
I’ve seen it go on a sale quite a bit, I’m hoping that it’s not because it’s bad, right? It’s next on the list to get.
“Just one more thing, sir. The A/C...”
You needed to send that twice?
That’s what Evolve was supposed to be and Turtle Rock screwed that up, why would this be any different?
Except that’s where Kotaku and gamers draw the line. Dicks are funny, but don’t you dare make boobs from a Fortnite character bounce like boobs do. /S
