The fun part to me is I don’t see a scenario right now where any of the teams on his list can make a trade work. The Spurs have 2 super old guys who they can’t ship out in Manu and Parker, and they just resigned Mills to a decent deal. They have a couple of decent assets to move, but unless you go with a super trade

Damn, This is stupid. The whole point of it is to do something pretty stupid as a celebration to make light of the lameness of it. Damn...

You are absolutely correct, about the coach being an idiot about it, but we are talking about college football coaches. Not exactly the brightest bunch.

I think even more simply. A lot of times the person who resonates with people best, win. Clinton is not a likable personality. She is experienced, smart, and was the best candidate for a lot of reasons. But she’s cold, not overly passionate (at least while speaking in public). She’s calculating (good, but also bad

I agree with a lot of what you say, but I have 1 Major problem with sanders. He will be 78 in 2020. That is really damn old to be president. Also, I’m not sure that Sanders pulls enough from the Blue areas of red states to win some of the swing states. Possible, but I’m not completely sold. I’m ready for single payer,

I think you are confused about what the white sox are doing. The have several very good prospects in the minors (especially after the Eaton and Sale trades). They will likely acquire more soon in quintana, Robertson, and anyone else they can move who makes sense (Basically any veteran who isn’t signed long term).

Is the dog black.?

I’m a parent, and sorry, but that’s is a valuable lesson to me (Which is, I better listen to my parents, I don’t want to get spanked again). There is also the lesson of consequences of actions and words.  I’ve spanked me kid, but probably only 4-5 times (He’s 6). More often than not, just the threat of it is enough,

The thing is, Boston has more picks then roster spots open. They could trade 3 first rounders, and still have 4 left in the next 3 years.

I actually disagree with the Paul George point for 1 reason. If the Cavs traded for butler (who has a couple of years left), and Lebron still left. The Cavs with Kyrie, Butler, and a couple of decent side players are still a mid level playoff team in the east for a couple of years. (Assuming Toronto stays good,

He’s a true King...man. (Maybe I’m dating myself with this one).

It’s impossible to have an answer, but rules/era matters a LOT. I mean the best Bulls squad (Harper/Jordan/Rodman/pippen/Kuckoc (bench) and 2 large white dudes and a large black dude playing center (Varied year by year, but it was a similar setup) actually match up fairly well with what the GS team does. It’s

This means nothing. Could it have been a players clothes, sure. Was a player smoking in the locker room (less likely imo). Could a random reporter, coach, member of an entourage have reeked of weed. Of course. This is soo not a story and its a waste of time.

Honest question. At what point is reporting on the good things athletes do “Manufacturing” feel good stories? Many athletes do good things without the press. Chris Zorich was a bear for years, and he was well known around Chicago for his charity, and every year the NFL would do a story about his turkey giveaway

I think it turns out that the flip side to most people doing a good deed story, is a bad deed story?

Also, he has a 300 million dollar shoe deal

I would disagree. The MLB has several teams that spend a ton, but some don’t spend at all. The padres are currently spending more money on players they traded (and agreed to pay some of the salary) than they are players on their current rosters. The NBA has a salary floor as well, which drives up salaries for

Honestly, this is a terrible take. The NBA salary cap is based on 51% of Basketball related income. Yes there are rules, but keep in mind, the Tax threshold for this season was well over 100 millon, for between 12 and 15 players per team. of and average of 6.75 mil per player on each team (assuming the maximum of 15

I can say that I only watch live sports on ESPN. I don’t think there is one show I care for anymore. However, I did like Randy Moss as a NFL contributor in the pregame roll.

Another Hot Taek, Thome and Adam Dunn were not that Different of hitters.
