There are really more factors to consider. #1. What is the TV deal $$ that oakland has. The dodgers, yankees, boston and chicago outspend everyone, but they also have rabid fan bases, and/or huge TV money coming in. #2. Does oakland actually have a large fan base? I don’t know anyone who actually considers oakland a

Seriously, The guy had a cup of tea with the bears like 6 years ago. The bears have had about 30 guys on their practice squad this season along. Leave the bears out of this, they suck enough and have enough issues without this shit.

If what he had fit in his wallet, how much is required to be intent to distribute? A few baggies could be like 3 or 4, and that seems like a reasonable amount that could be for personal use? (I’m not a coke user, so I don’t know the amount that could reasonably be considered personal use).

Maybe it’s cause I’m a bears fan, and while I expected them to suck, I figured it’d be a 6-10 sucking, not a 2-14 sucking, but I think relative health is super important for the Giants. Please list the defensive players who have missed time for them. It seems like the relatively healthy teams are always the best. The

Damn, I know who most of those people are, and basically they don’t have anyone who can shoot, and they barely have people who play defense.

Eh.. Depending on when the guy found out, it’s possible. I once had free tickets for a Cubs game (got them from work), but I didn’t find out until 1 pm, and the game was at 6 or 7. I couldn’t find anyone to go to a free game, cause the timing was bad. Also, I wasn’t going to give a random stranger a ticket to sit next

This is steel grey and gold. when mixed together the steel grey gets a little “blue” to the eyes

This just doesn’t seem to add up... That can’t really be the reason right? It’s got to be something else.

Schools have had academic scandals for far longer than Baylor has tried to be a good team. Minnesota, North Carolina, and just about every major school has faced similar issues. This is barely a story IMO, as this happens EVERYWHERE.

I like the idea, but your are essentially delaying the only form of payment that these athletes get for up to 4-5 years. While I agree that school + sports is a extremely difficult balance for kids, it’s not impossible. Most of the student athletes stay at school year round. Take multiple classes in the summer, and

Outside of Rodgers, Nelson, Peppers, Burnett and Nelson, (Less than 10 % of their roster) and MAYBE sheilds, who are the old dudes on this team. (Maybe Bulaga too I guess) But still, the overwhelming majority of this roster is young players. Maybe too much rebuilding and not enough veterans is more of the issue

I’m a bears fan, but the injuries on the defensive side of the ball for GB are pretty massive at this point. They are playing basically 4th string LB’s and CB’s. The DT position has had similar problems. They are missing pretty much every veteran outside of Dix and Burnett (And peppers, although he is having the year

Barry’s an idoit. Although Fade to black and ride the lightning are two of the best metallica songs ever, Master and And justice are better overall. All three own.

Lets use Jimmy Butler assuming you mean bulls star players. Last two years under thibs (38.7 mpg) First year under Hoiberg, 36.9. This year 34.6. The big differece is last year the bulls had Tony Snell, Holiday, and Dougie Mcbuckets as the backup wings (Sue me if I’m missing someone). Rose was pretty much the only

Deng, he averaged the most minutes by a decent amount under thibs (and then it was Butler after that). His decline PT (post thibs) has been really dramatic, and I think Noah and Rose’s decline’s are much more normal. Noah is a big who has had foot an back issues (See every big man over the age of 29) and Rose had two

Honestly, Luol Deng should be the poster boy for thibs abuse of player MPG. He almost died, and averaged about 38 minutes a game for Thibs entire tenure in Chicago. Noah averaged about 5 minutes less per game than Deng in the same time from (Per Basketball reference, and I’m rounding a little, but not much).

Simmons has basically ignored writing columns (you know, the thing that most people liked about him), and while he can be a insufferable homer, he is still a decent writer. But he has decided he should do more of the podcast model, and I think in front of any camera, he is bad. He was bad doing NBA pre-post game, bad

Oak would probably actually kill someone if he felt like it. That dude is scary, but don’t tell him I said that. He might actually take the time to set random internet commenter straight, and put my ass in the hospital.

I agree overall basketball is better. I do find it interesting that the assist numbers have dropped so much, but I suppose thats due to ISO and pick and roll being the basic strategy and the offensive sets almost all start from around the 3pt line. Old school NBA had the feed the post to set up offense philosophy too

I agree that sexual assault shouldn’t be something that is ignored, but reading the story regarding no charges being issued, the cooperation of all parties, and the fact that this doesn’t read like sexual assault at all (reading the linked article in the comments). While it’s important to bring light to the incidents
