No player “deserves” to be paid millions of dollars, no player is “worth” millions of dollars; however, you deserve to be paid a fair share of the wealth you generate for your employer, and that is empirically not the case in MLB right now.

Agreed, most people have no idea what the labels mean. Also, people have a nasty habit of voting against their self-interest. I would think Forbes is reliable about money matters, but someone has to explain to me how the Yankees are worth $4 billion (1st in MLB) and had revenue of $619 million (also 1st), but their operating income was only $14 million (23rd). 

I’ve saved almost all the tickets from concerts and sporting events I’ve attended since the 1970s. The tickets are sometimes crappy and generic (looking at you, Ticketron), but often unique and even somewhat artistic. And of course, it has the date on it and you didn’t have to pay extra for a souvenir.
