I keep seeing how the first Civil War “didn't work" on several blogs on this site. I'm a comic book fan with an affinity for Marvel but the core story line to me actually was fine—-I didn't see it as a complete fail JMO. The only problem I have with Marvel on the whole "Civil War" thing is the fact that they try to

You are all about ‘the silver lining’, aren’t you. shit. No it won’t cause a boom in turtles or manatees. stupid brain fart comment.

And a lot of those took place during an actual war...

Well, Captain America is a solder, so it’s not as if he has a Batman-style “no kill” rule. Presumably he does follow standard US military rules of engagement while in the field as a matter of principle.

For sure!

And there would be a hall devoted to major contemporary religions?

They maybe the “Gawker Media Contributor” shouldn’t be writing posts about comics? If you are writing from a position of authority on a subject you know actually have some working knowledge of it.

I had to star this comment because five minutes later I’m still laughing.

None of these have homophonous adjectives. And using a noun as a complement or pre-head modifier doesn’t make it an adjective, it’s still a noun. You can tell because nouns used in this way still take adjectives as dependents, not adverbs.

I am just surprised you even knew about comics in the 80's given the huge gaps of knowledge in previous comic posts.

What does great mean again?
