You'd probably say neither - I'd recommend "England is full of knobheads" or "The English are a bunch of knobheads".

It's got to be Zelda - 170 hours in and counting down the days to the first DLC update. A stunning game that's pretty much engrossed me like no other - I've put in 100 hours into other games and felt like I've played them for twice as long. BOTW just flies by, and I really start to miss it if I go more than a few days…
We're really just a bunch of knobheads tbf.
Yeah! They were cool. I think they were the last YA series I read before moving on to Bukowski and Tao Lin like every other insufferable 18-year-old, I remember there being some really great bits - like the jerk guy becoming less of a jerk by fighting some white supremacists back in the real world, or the way it dealt…
I don't know if you're from the UK or not but over here I really do see it as part of a grander cultural tradition of just spoiling things for ourselves and everyone around us whenever possible, just for a bit of a laugh. Was once in a bar with a little candy dispenser that had Skittles in it - you know, put a coin in, twist the handle, and a bunch fall out? Gave a couple twists into a pint of Amstel once to see what it was like. The Skittles sank to the bottom and were bleached an unsettling off-white colour while the beer just tasted…
Man Animorphs was the shit. What was the other series she/they did? With the parallel universe with all the mythical charatcers in it? That was great too.
I devoured the books as a youngster - and I was 17 when the last one came out. Basically the perfect age to grow up with them and then leave them behind as I've moved onto, y'know, books for grown-ups - which was easy enough, as they weren't the books that got me into reading in the first place.
It's entirely possible to enjoy both Andrew WK and Merzbow. Sometimes at the same time. AWK's The Wolf syncs up nicely with Merzbeat, for example.
Really can't wait to watch this, not least because it also features queen of the universe Kate Nash. Looks like a lot of fun!
That's a shame, because the title track is right at the end and it's the most triumphant party-rock song on an album of triumphant party-rock songs!
I like the idea that Twin Peaks has a burgeoning shoegaze/dream-pop scene, and the Roadhouse has turned into a common tour stop for young Pacific Northwest bands on their way up as well as having some local favourites. It's not beyond the realm of possibility - here in the UK I lived in a pretty off-the-radar town…
So my iPod hard-drive is on its way out and I'm in the market for a new high-capacity music player. Your comment reminded me about good ol' Pono so I went to have a look - you can get a used one for about $700 on Amazon, while the Pono official store sells no players but seven different types of Pono shirts. Pono is…
Reminds me of the Kilgore Trout story about the world of sentient car-beings…
Side note: my friends and I once went through a phase of watching terrible dog movies, which lead my partner to buy Doc Hollywood on DVD because she misread the cover and thought it said Dog Hollywood. It was not what we were expecting.
I'm ridiculously excited for something as simple as a tracker. I still stumble across places I've never been before and being able to find anywhere new easily will be GREAT. Korok mask will be a big help too, I hope it's easy to find. Though the sword trial mode looks like the most fun - used to love the trials caves…
160 hours in! DLC on its way in two weeks - can't wait to sink more hours into it.
Yeah this looks ridiculous and I am incredibly excited about it.
I'm definitely enjoying the ride but I do have to admit I'm starting to get more than a little annoyed with the pacing. Just get to the fireworks factory a tiny bit quicker, y'know?
